Beautiful setting by the sea. The public wharf is 1 minute walk from the hotel. The supermarket is 12 minute walk from the hotel. Nearest restaurant (pizza) 5 minute walk from hotel. We rented a car through reception.

We loved everything about this hotel - the accommodation which was spacious and beautifully decorated in light modern decor. We had a big bedroom and a lounge area with kitchenette too. There were USB sockets each side of the bed which was very helpful. We had a big terrace with a good quality table and four chairs and two sunbeds. Our view was to the pool and the ocean beyond looking through palm trees. It was perfect and everything we hoped for. The staff could not have been more helpful and all spoke great English. They helped us with travel tips and to book our evening at the Tiki Village for which we were so very grateful. The restaurant area is very nice and we enjoyed cocktails looking onto the beach at sunset and a lovely meal afterwards. There was plenty of parking for our rental car. There's a great supermarket called Super U just 2/3km away with stalls next to it selling local fruit and vegetables, The beach area was perfect - wooden double bedframes with shade over the top, comfortable mattresses and pillows as well as lots of beanbags and side tables. We were never stuck for a place to sit and a waiter came round at 5pm one night to tell us it was Happy Hour and serve cocktails. We went snorkelling off the beach every day and saw amazing fish as well as swimming with a turtle and having five foot shark casually swim past us. It was amazing.

I really enjoyed my stay at Fare Om, I wish it was longer! Initially I was supposed to stay in a chalet but they upgraded me to a double room with private bathroom, it had mosquito net around the bed so I slept like a baby. The owners are really nice people, there are bicycles you can borrow (for free), they even have handmade souvenirs like fridge magnets, bracelets, necklaces etc. Wifi was good and stable, couple of folks were working remotely in the house so it should be good for nomads.

Close to a variety of restaurants, supermarkets etc with its own access to the lagoon.

Room was great, very comfortable but could be updated. Breakfast had lots of choices and staff were very responsive.

The most stunning view from balcony and from inside the room. Clean room, super soft towels. Staff we lovely, free access to the kitchen with tea/coffee making facilities and really lovely breakfast. We had the superior bungalow as a splash out on our honeymoon and it was worth it. We were very sad to leave

EVERYTHING!! Having travelled extensively for 30 years, this is one of the most amazing places we ever stayed! The views, the water, the friendliness of the staff, the cute and beautiful bungalows (fully a/c), the waterside porch, the beach, the quietness and serenity of the of the place, the multiple restaurants in walking distance… everything was perfect!!
