We stay around one week at this hotel, cause of a Typhoon season.. Everything was perfect. The staff, the hotel services and the very generous restaurant. you find everything on site when you are blocked by torrential rain. We recommend this hotel

1. Liked the location was a few minutes walk (5 mins) into main town so away from the hustle and bustle but the town was still accessible 2. Courteous and helpful staff. They even prepared sandwiches and fruit as our ferry was supposed to have left at 6am and we couldn't avail breakfast 3. Good variety with breakfast and seems they have signs and lids on each dish. Tasty breakfast options. 4. Spacious room and very comfortable bed 5. Pool was always clean. We all didn't have a chance to use this during our stay as we had alternative plans but looks great. 6. Lovely view of Coron town and Mt Tapyas on the roof deck

It was spotless, very modern and comfortable. The staff was very attending und helpful. They booked for us amazing tour and the trip back to the airport. The Breakfast was delicious. We used pool only once but it was also nice. There was also netflix in the room. The Hotel was cheaper than hostel in El nido… you can compare the quality!! Would definitely stay there again.

We were very impressed with our stay at Charms hotel. The staff was super helpful/friendly. The rooms were extremely clean and comfy with lots of room. The pool was nice and clean and we had it to ourselves for most of the time. It is very close to the city (we opted to take a tricycle ride into town which was only about 5min long). You can catch the tricycle outside of the hotel. Close to town but away from all the noise! I'd highly recommend dinners at Pacifico in downtown Coron!

The airport and almost all hotels are located on Busuanga (the neighbour island of Coron). There is hardly anything to see here. Neither nice beaches nor varied landscapes. You have to take boat trips to the neighbouring island of Coron or go diving. Both are great. Coron with its lakes, lagoons, caves and beaches is amazing. The underwater world is more varied than in El Nido, Moalboal or Boracay.

The damage from the previous typoons is still present. There are numerous bars, I recommend the Pacifico Bar, they have Octoberfest sized mugs to hold the Red Horse Beer. It is 50 Pesos each way from the hotel to town and back. On the island tours, the outhouses are the absolute bare minimum, a toilet, no seat, no tank, no TP, a bucket and a ladle and no sink. Wear grippy water shoes, the stairs are slippery. Go see the Coral Garden, elsewhere all the other fish are <5" and no coral. Unless you go to the the Coral Garden, the crystal kayak is a waste of money. Still I had a great time, the staff did an amazing job, life is an adventure!

The wow factor was definitely at Twin Lagoons and Kayangan Lake. Loved swimming and snorkelling although coming from Australia, the corals and fish were a bit underwhelming. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in Coron Town. We especially liked the french restaurant Armihan Bistro, Poco Deli (next door to Epic Cafe) and Le Voyage. All catered for Gluten Free meals as well. Tuk Tuks are plentiful and easy to catch. 50 pesos for 2 peoples to take you anywhere within the town boundaries. We also walked to the hilltop lookout Mt Tapayas .. but beware, there's 720 steps to climb to get to the top from the car park!!!

The calamian group of islands of which Coron is part of, is beautiful. And I hope all the measures to keep it pristine and unlittered will be successful always. There are many breathtaking sights. You would need a sizable budget though to be able to enjoy the boat tours which are wonderful. If you have the time, visit Culion. It is historical (a UNESCO site), and while the places to see could do a little tidying up, nevertheless, the history of that place invites reflection and inspires--many heroic people lived on that island. Kudos to the religious who have kept the place going since it was first established. The Culion museum should be your first stop.

Rooms are spacious, big selection if breakfast, friendly hotel staff. Infinity pool is okay, could have a bit deeper though. The other pool is undergoing refurbishment. Island hoping are a must to do. We ate in the town where they served fresh sea food.I think its called Island boy Grill. Outside the hotel the tricycle ride are ideal to get round Coron town proper for merely 30 pesos.

Day trips to beautiful beaches and islands is what Coron is about. The town is dirty and chaotic. And hotels are overpriced for what you get. 3 or 4 days is enough to enjoy the diving and snorkelling options which are wonderful. Lots of rubbish floating around in the ocean and on the beaches which seems to be a south east Asia problem. Over all some stunning scenery well worth visiting and exploring

It's a perfect place to stay on Busuanga. You basically live in a jungle but with a great comfort. We had nice breakfasts included and the manager Judith helped us to organise Coron trip island hopping and scooter rental. You just need to bear in mind that it is pretty isolated place so getting from Coron town there takes around 50 min by tricicle. We stayed in Riverhouse as we wanted to do the dugong watching with the Dugong Dive Center situated nearby.

Very nice hotel a few minutes by tricycle out of Coron Town. Staff were outstanding!! We arrived on the early flight, they were able to provide us a waiting room before ours was ready at 1400. I am sure that they can't always do this but they did it for us and it was appreciated. I am 60 so appreciate that people look out for my wellbeing. Facilities were very good, lovely breakfast, high quality hotel.

The Ridge Coron is so comfortable and homely, the rooms are spacious, and the staff were super friendly, accommodating and very welcoming. The location was good but you need to be fit to walk up to the hotel. However, the hotel provides a drop and pick up to the town for convenience.

Fantastic location and probably the best hotel in Coron town. Walkable to shops and restaurants, pool for you when you need to cool down, excellent buffet breakfast, with eggs ready to be made by order too! We rebooked here a week later too because we loved our stay so much.
