The accommodation is super central. Everything is easily accessible on foot: the town center, the best coffee shops, and the start of hiking trails. Most activities are a 10–15 minute walk maximum. I did everything on foot (massages, cafés, drawing, etc.), except for the hot springs. Cleanliness and Comfort: My room was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The view is extraordinary, and the food available is also very good. Value: The value for money here is truly excellent. I must admit, I was caught by a double surprise! First, the photos online DO NOT do justice to the quality of this establishment. Thank goodness for the comments, as they truly reflect the reality! The second surprise was the exceptional welcome. The staff is extremely attentive and genuinely caring. As soon as I arrived, they offered me breakfast for the next day and asked about my plans to arrange a driver or provide recommendations. After mentioning it was my birthday, they prepared a beautiful room with a small surprise and even a 'Happy Birthday' video! Truly 5-star service

The staff were lovely and accommodating with us, especially since we were travelling with seniors. The hotel allowed us to stay until later in the afternoon and closer to our flight. They were very helpful with booking tours, transportation, informative, and were quick to provide us with a service (e.g., asking for extra water or towels). I enjoyed the location, it was walkable to other areas of Coron and the rooftop view during breakfast was a highlight. My entire family enjoyed staying at this hotel. Thank you!

This was the best place we stayed at in the Philippines! We loved it! Our room was super comfortable and clean and tidy. Great water pressure in the shower and air-conditioning worked well and not super noisy like other places. Excellent location close to town centre, but also quiet and well positioned away from noisy traffic. Filtered water available on upper floors, along with tea and coffee. We could also buy bottled water, soft drinks and beer at reception for a very reasonable price. We had breakfast there one day too, and it was delicious. If you stay, make sure to check out the roof top. Beautiful view. Best of all, were the staff. Super friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Thank you so much.

We were positively surprised, as the hotel was much better than it appeared in the pictures. The rooms are simple but have everything needed, and the cleanliness was outstanding, with daily housekeeping. The entire hotel area was well-maintained, showing great attention to detail. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless with good hot water. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. A great recommendation for those who want to stay outside the hustle of Coron Town while still having good connections.

The express part of the accomodation is based behind the pool and pool side villas. Basic but all you need, aircon works very well. Available area to dry wet clothes outside. The pool is lovely, poolside bar staff very friendly make great smoothies and other drinks. If you love cats, a lot of well behaved ones wonder around the hotel but dont bother anyone. You can book trips and scooter rental from reception. Restaurant has great food, at hopd prices. Restaurant staff amazing. Breakfast has a lot of choice and its a good feed. Located away from busy town centre with a nice view of the surrounding hills. The hotel staff deffiently make this place exceptional, the cleaning staff and gardeners keep the place looking spotless and restanrant staff can advise on food.

Local people are polite, cheerful and helpful. Easy to get around town by tuktuk, although streets are narrow with no sidewalks. Staff at bacau bay are well trained in service. Staff were attentive to requests and offered assitance readily. The sunset viewing deck and bar was an exceptional experience. There are no accessible beaches around the town of coron, but there are plenty of tours to coron island. The ultimate tour was an amazing experience, especially snorkling in corel reefs, and swimming in pristine lagoons

Aside from Mount Tapyas there isn't really a lot to do in...

Aside from Mount Tapyas there isn't really a lot to do in Coron Town itself (aside from eateries and souvenir stores), so one should definitely book a tour. We loved snorkeling at Siete Pecados; because it's a protected marine sanctuary, the corals are healthy and gorgeous with lots of fish to be seen (please keep it that way by not going too shallow and stepping on the corals). There was a bit of a current when we were there, so good to be watchful for that. Kayaking in the Twin Lagoon was another highlight, so peaceful and relaxing. Kayangan Lake was too crowded for our taste and it was quite annoying to have to wear the life jackets (since we're relatively good swimmers). I don't know how many shipwrecks there are on the various tours, but the one we saw was overrated if you're not a freediver. Mount Tapyas is doable if you're reasonably fit (though it did leave us with muscle ache the next day and we run short distances regularly). Go at sunrise or sunset to avoid the heat, or on a cloudy day like we did. The view is great and it's a fun little activity you can do in-between.

We probably could have stayed for less days - we were there for 6 nights and seven days - we could have cut that down by two days. The trips out to the islands were really good. Although quite long and tiring. An easy town to get around. There was a good array of restaurants and bars to go to and a great Vegan/ Vegetarian restaurant called Verde Rekado. We ended up going there a couple of times for dinner - great food and drinks, good vibes! Definitely our most favourite place to eat on our entire trip to the Philippines.

The airport and almost all hotels are located on Busuanga (the neighbour island of Coron). There is hardly anything to see here. Neither nice beaches nor varied landscapes. You have to take boat trips to the neighbouring island of Coron or go diving. Both are great. Coron with its lakes, lagoons, caves and beaches is amazing. The underwater world is more varied than in El Nido, Moalboal or Boracay.

The damage from the previous typoons is still present. There are numerous bars, I recommend the Pacifico Bar, they have Octoberfest sized mugs to hold the Red Horse Beer. It is 50 Pesos each way from the hotel to town and back. On the island tours, the outhouses are the absolute bare minimum, a toilet, no seat, no tank, no TP, a bucket and a ladle and no sink. Wear grippy water shoes, the stairs are slippery. Go see the Coral Garden, elsewhere all the other fish are <5" and no coral. Unless you go to the the Coral Garden, the crystal kayak is a waste of money. Still I had a great time, the staff did an amazing job, life is an adventure!

The wow factor was definitely at Twin Lagoons and Kayangan Lake. Loved swimming and snorkelling although coming from Australia, the corals and fish were a bit underwhelming. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in Coron Town. We especially liked the french restaurant Armihan Bistro, Poco Deli (next door to Epic Cafe) and Le Voyage. All catered for Gluten Free meals as well. Tuk Tuks are plentiful and easy to catch. 50 pesos for 2 peoples to take you anywhere within the town boundaries. We also walked to the hilltop lookout Mt Tapayas .. but beware, there's 720 steps to climb to get to the top from the car park!!!

stunning view from the hotel (panoramic view, cause hotel is up in the mountain), BUT you dont need to worry about the transportation to town (they have free shuttle to the center and back). Restaurant deserves all the applauses, cause the food is the best in all town, do dont waste your time in searching better places :) staff is helpfull and welcoming :) also, the pool is great plus, cause sometimes the tours to islands are cancelled because of weather conditions, so you could spend great time near pool and have a massage ;)

The location is beautiful and quiet, outside of Coron town. Vilma and Romel are extremely helpful and always willing to share their advice and knowledge of the island. The rooms are very clean and the view out of them in the morning is spectacular.

Great spot to get away from all the hustle and bustle of Corontown. Good island hopping trips to take from the resort. Great bar with happy hour on the jetty Playing volleyball against the workers was a fun highlight.
