La Elliana Hotel & Restaurant, Inc., hotel in Laoag

Set in Laoag, within 14 km of Paoay Sand Dunes and 20 km of Paoay Church, La Elliana Hotel & Restaurant, Inc.

One of the largest rooms we got within 2 months of traveling through the Philippines. We arrived by bus from Vigan City and they dropped us off just in front of the hotel. Very friendly staff, tiled clean rooms with a spacious bathroom. Two rails to hang your clothes, corner room 512 had a nice view and there is a 7-eleven next door. Water pressure is good and they have a bucket if you don’t mind cooler water. Cotton towels and sheets (slightly stained though). The last guesthouses lacked a mirror above the sink - not that one. Windows can be opened. A restaurant on the ground floor - if you are tired of fried food you can also get some California Rolls at Hotchick Sushi 5 mins walk. TV, A/C and proper Wifi. Tricycle to the airport of Laoag is 200PHP.

The best part of our journey, is to collect memories. Also, meet my sister in law in person and family for the first time cause, last dec 18, 2019, we had our civil wedding and they can't come due to long hours of travel from laoag to laguna. So we decided to have a 3d2n vacay in order for us to relax from work and to enjoy the rest of it.

Laoag is a busy City with lots of shopping for local products. Numerous restaurants that offer local and international cuisine. Experience riding a Calesa, a horse driven Cart that will take you anywhere on a stroll pace. Good for aightseeing the City on a slow pace if you have enough time to spare.

Loved the Taoid ethnographic museum. The guide did a great job of explaining the displays and helping us understand the lives of the early Philipino tribes. Beautiful and interesting displays. Highly recommend visiting this museum. I Laoag city - not too busy.

    Laoag is awesome.

Laoag is awesome. The views in Paoay and lapaz sand dunes are breathtaking. I had so much fun riding the 4x4 and ATV. I also love the sandboarding. Paoay Church and Malacananag of the North is a must visit place if you are in Laoag.

Awesome place, the people are incredibly friendly.

Awesome place, the people are incredibly friendly. The local food is great. Longanisa, empanadas, bbq and fish were among the most memorable foods. Getting around is as easy as waving to a Trike driver (motorcycle with sidecar). There is too much to see in a single vacation, but you can squeeze in a good variety. The people of Laoag really make the difference. Really outstanding people. Try not to be shocked at the courtesy and respect the everyday person has. The people are generally very happy and very friendly as well.

The comfort room is clean and all utilities works fine. If I will come back to Laoag, I will definitely stay again in Nord House Laoag. Kudos to the owner and staff.
