Our stay at Chevi’s Place was really great. Cherry took amazing care of us — every day she provided all the amenities we needed and was always very attentive to anything we asked for. The bed was comfortable and there was also a fan in the room. Cherry made us coffee every morning, we were able to rent a motorbike directly with her, and she even helped us arrange transportation to our next destination. We highly recommend Chevi’s Place! :)

first stop on our palawan tour and I would say the best - incredible views into bay, cozy and very clean bamboo villas, tasty simple breakfast and very helpful owners. If you want to stay out of loud place but still close enough in case you want have more fun, choose this place as it is like from a fairy tale. Will recommend everywhere!! Best way to reach the accommodation is by boat taxi from port barton

If you intend to visit Palawan you need to be more informed...

If you intend to visit Palawan you need to be more informed than I was. The Philippines are a poor country. Accommodation is cheap and as such you get what you paid for - No hot water, some cockroaches, you cannot swim in the water because of the jellyfish, plenty of sandflies and no shop to get any relief medication. There is no way to move around unless you organize transfers that cost you as much as your accommodation. A must see if you would like to see the culture. We were unable to snorkel due to weather

Roxas is off the beaten track, a place to go to escape the...

Roxas is off the beaten track, a place to go to escape the crowds and the commercial overload. The people that live in the village near Mecaja are genuinely happy to see you and show you around. Mecaja where we stayed works closely with the little community where they are established. Roxas is not for fancy restaurants, and shopping. It will offer you the raw basics and you will get on just fine. Mecaja will help make your holiday dreams come true.

Isolated from the world and this is the beautiful part of it...

Isolated from the world and this is the beautiful part of it, I didn't like the restaurant, because with a sea in front and fishing villages around, frozen fish nooo, breakfast is a choice of sweet or savory but it is not possible to ask for something more because they count it as an extra the room is never cleaned nor the linen replaced, for the entire duration of the stay, the option and pay!

Wonderful place to stay.

Wonderful place to stay. The room administration seemed a bit chaotic, because initially I was supposed to stay longer, then the room was taken, and then it was available again. The same was true for the boat for the diving trips; it was initially reserved for me and then later took over. But overall, I had a wonderful time here.

The hotel is set on a road behind the main through road so it's very quiet. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was local cuisine, rice with either corned beef or sausage and fried egg served with bananas and a glass of juice. Free tea and coffee is available from reception. I chose this location as it was pretty central in Palawan and allowed me to access Port Barton and numerous other locations fairly easily.

The hotel located very peaceful place, staffs are very friendly and kind, the food in the restaurant was perfect. There was a dog called “Sune”, he was sick but all staffs are taking care of him a lot, and Sune was very adorable too. We already miss the place and Sune so much. We would like to come back again here one day.

Really cute little hotel in Roxas. We were spsd to have an overnight but due to flight delays could only use it as a day hotel on our way to one of the islands. Staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. Great value.
