Really good value for the money you pay, staff is very nice always willing to help, ask you for your breakfast preferences, do laundry for you, arranged taxi to bus terminal, rented scooters for us, let us check in earlier for free, please ignore first review probably never been to place like this before black outs are common and normal and road to the hotel isnt anything difficult for experienced traveller - bit of mud and few holes even easy on scooter

Nice and comfy bungalow-style rooms that are more than adequate for the price. The real benefit of staying here is the owner/host. He treats you as well as any attentive 5-star hotel staff, and offered us delicious local fruit every day. If you have any questions or problems he attends to it immediately. If you intend to visit Palawan you need to be more informed...

If you intend to visit Palawan you need to be more informed than I was. The Philippines are a poor country. Accommodation is cheap and as such you get what you paid for - No hot water, some cockroaches, you cannot swim in the water because of the jellyfish, plenty of sandflies and no shop to get any relief medication. There is no way to move around unless you organize transfers that cost you as much as your accommodation. A must see if you would like to see the culture. We were unable to snorkel due to weather

Roxas is off the beaten track, a place to go to escape the...

Roxas is off the beaten track, a place to go to escape the crowds and the commercial overload. The people that live in the village near Mecaja are genuinely happy to see you and show you around. Mecaja where we stayed works closely with the little community where they are established. Roxas is not for fancy restaurants, and shopping. It will offer you the raw basics and you will get on just fine. Mecaja will help make your holiday dreams come true.

Isolated from the world and this is the beautiful part of it, I didn't like the restaurant, because with a sea in front and fishing villages around, frozen fish nooo, breakfast is a choice of sweet or savory but it is not possible to ask for something more because they count it as an extra the room is never cleaned nor the linen replaced, for the entire duration of the stay, the option and pay!

Wonderful place to stay.

Wonderful place to stay. The room administration seemed a bit chaotic, because initially I was supposed to stay longer, then the room was taken, and then it was available again. The same was true for the boat for the diving trips; it was initially reserved for me and then later took over. But overall, I had a wonderful time here.

Very nice, friendly and kind stuff. I feel myself like at home in my Mom😊 The room was very big and the bed with very comfortable mantras. I was on my car and accordingly my plans, have to leave at 6 am. They wake up early and cooked breakfast for me 😄 So nice. Guys, if you will be here, please stay in this hotel. If you will tell the story, who advised you this place-you can tell the guy, who had a flight ✈️ with you in the same aircraft, when you landed on the different island.

The hotel located very peaceful place, staffs are very friendly and kind, the food in the restaurant was perfect. There was a dog called “Sune”, he was sick but all staffs are taking care of him a lot, and Sune was very adorable too. We already miss the place and Sune so much. We would like to come back again here one day.

Really cute little hotel in Roxas. We were spsd to have an overnight but due to flight delays could only use it as a day hotel on our way to one of the islands. Staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. Great value.
