Nice hotel in good location, room size good . Had kettle in room and option to get milk etc heated in microwave at reception. Its a basic hotel but very good value and rooms good size.

We did not had a breakfast, but we liked the restaurant, we had dinner every evening. That eas excellent! And reception lady was very sweet and friendly, awesome!

I was traveling alone, and the aroma of gingerbread filled the streets of Toruń Old Town. The hotel is very historic and very close to the attractions. The room was very comfortable and clean, with air conditioning and TV, and the toilet was also very hygienic. The breakfast was very rich and delicious.

People were really kind. It’s walkable to the city centre and the train station. The room was spacious and comfortable.

The pool and Spa is amazing, the design takes you back into Medieval, in a good way. We were blown away. The photos are very honest, even downplayed. And all this at very reasonable prices.

This is an amazing boutique hotel ideal for relaxation. The room was superb and even included a bath as well as a separate shower. There are options in the hotel for a jacuzzi and the restaurant looked very good. The room included a flat screen tv, coffee/tea and a comfortable bed. Very relaxing. The location was excellent as it was in the old historical town, and was actually just across the road from the Copernicus museum/house. It was a really excellent hotel .... Highly recommended

Smooth check-in, check-out and staff communication. Great location, peaceful, secluded position, surrounded by pine and birch forest yet right next to the fast straight road 10mins away from the centre of Torun. Excellent breakfast with domestic delicacies like locally grown big size tomatoes, flavoured pickled cucumbers, pork lard spread with spices and pork cracklings etc. that will sweep you of your feet. Design of the hall where breakfast is served is well designed and decorated with paintings. Two sides of the hall are overlooking the nature.

We liked absolutely everything! From the clean, spacious rooms to the magnificent food, this hotel offers it all. The staff are friendly and helpful, even if you don’t speak Polish. One of the best places we have ever stayed (and we have travelled a lot). We highly recommend the breakfast menu and the Venison Tartare from the restaurant.

Staff was excellent and accommodating. Check in efficient and swift. Breakfast exceptional.

Fantastic location in Old Town with lovely view overlooking a church. So many great restaurants, and cafes nearby. Hotel was beautiful and our room was very clean and comfortable. Secure parking.

Hotel is located next to one of the highways heading to Toruń. The place has an interesting lobby and a lovely host. The room was a typical hotel room – all good. Breakfast was a set breakfast and a bit insufficient for me, but good nonetheless.

The hotel is ideally situated a very short walking distance to the town centre with all its restaurants , museums and other places to visit. It’s also near bus and tram stops . The main train station is only a couple of bus stops away . I found the hotel to be very quiet. My room had a beautiful view of the river which I could enjoy from my balcony. Both the room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean and it was very useful to have a fridge. The bed was extremely comfortable. More importantly given the time of the year the room was kept nicely warm at all times . Breakfast was available until quite late and was very copious. For the purpose of my visit I often had to go in and out of the hotel and I appreciated not having to go through reception but be able to use the other exit door. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again at hotel Czarna Roza.

Everything especially after other more private airbnb and booking.com accommodation. Great bed, advice from reception and wonderful breakfast.

In an amazing location, the hotel itself has that rustic fee, you can sense the history as you walk in. The staff were helpful, and the breakfast was lovely. Oh and the bedroom was warm with a comfy bed.

We throughly enjoyed everything about this property. The location was great- in the middle of the old town. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We upgraded our room to one of the newer ones and it was spacious and very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The breakfast and the food we enjoyed during dinners at the restaurant downstairs were delicious! Can’t fault this place and would definitely recommend to others and will stay there again!
