Puerto RicoI loved the place, the staff, the service, and the casita. The staff; Xiomara, Luis, Manuel, Rafael, and the american guy (dont remember his name) were extremelly helpful and display excellent customer service kills. Cleaning services were great.
My observations:
The casitas bathroom need some maintenance at the showers, we had a party of 3, but e everythig at the casita were for two. We notice that cleaning service were done in the morning, however someone went inside the casita later on without a notice.

The whole place is extremely well looked after, and the apartment was very spacious and impeccably clean. We completely relaxed and enjoyed every moment of our stay. The location is great and close to everything, especially convenient if you have a car. We would absolutely love to return.

Isabela is a beautiful and peaceful coastal town.
Isabela is a beautiful and peaceful coastal town. The people of Isabela are very charismatic and helpful. Our favorite places were: Jobos Beach, a safe beach for swimmers and anyone starting out in surfing or bodyboarding, La Pocita de Jacinto, Los Almendros, for fried food; Verde Menta and Blessings Café. Our stay was not on a weekend (Sunday to Wednesday)

This is real Puerto Rico.
This is real Puerto Rico. We went to the Isabella plaza Friday and Saturday night and they had Salsa dancing, a band, lots of food vendors. The local food truck scene is seriously off the chart. The people are super friendly.
highly recommend this area.

The scenery was so beautiful.
The scenery was so beautiful. The culture is friendly you must speak some Spanish to be able to communicate.
So much history to see and explore. The locals are very friendly good food but expensive! I would travel a different time of the year. The rip tides were up and very strong even though I wasn’t in the ocean my 2nd day I was knocked down by a wave on shore and slammed into a rock.
Getting hurt and broke my phone. I was slightly being pulled out into the ocean but I was able to recover and made it back before being completely pulled out into the ocean. People had just drown there earlier that week and they were still searching for the body.
Over all great experience in Isabella. Not enough souvenir shops only found one in Isabella. I also traveled to Arecibo and Rincon and I didn’t find any there either . There are not a lot of places to shop in Isabella for food or supplies. There is a Walmart there. It’s very small and cost more than in the states.there roads are in poor condition and very narrow. People drive erratically there. We had someone do a turn in the middle of the one lane road and head right back at us causing us to almost go into a ditch to avoid a head on collision. It’s also a place where many animals horses and chickens free roam and cows randomly even in the downtown area of Isabella. There is more shopping and it’s more Americanized in Arecibo.

I loved the facility, the town, and the other guest were friendly.I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the facility, which was well-maintained and offered a variety of amenities. The town itself was charming, with picturesque streets, local shops, and delightful cafés that made exploring a pleasure. Additionally, the other guests I met were exceptionally friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made my stay even more enjoyable.

The place was clean, and the information prior to arrival was accurate and helpful. I did not get the rooms I paid for, I paid for two double beds and was given one with a king bed and one with a full bed.

Villa del Mar hau in Isabela wasn’t what we expected.
Villa del Mar hau in Isabela wasn’t what we expected. Someone booked and charged us twice. We only booked one room from feb 13-14, 2025 yet the administration said we booked two rooms. What happened we don’t know but we were charged 341.70 instead of 160.73. Since it was non-refundable, nothing was able to be solved . It ruined our stay plus the heavy rain, freezing room, and crowded restaurant didn’t help.

I was assigned a “villa” located quite far from the main areas of the property. When I asked the employee about it, she explained that this was the type of room typically assigned when booking through Booking, and that reservations made directly with the hotel were different.
I did not expect to receive the best room or the most central location, but I was disappointed that the experience and room assigned were so different from what I expected based on the reservation I made.

This property is better than a postcard. Better than an instagram filter. No camera can capture this place, you just have to come see it for yourself. The perfect pool, the perfect ocean....tried to extend my stay but unfortunately it was already taken. If if's available and you want to see isabela at its best, do it right now.

The room was clean and comfortable, and really lovely. The host was on site and accommodated me really well! Parking was easy. the location was amazing, and really close to Isabela Plaza. Highly recommend!
