The wholesomeness of the experience. Both Stefan an Jorg were very helpful and very caring. We made a very long trip and message them if we could arrive a little after their check in hours and they were very understanding and thoughtful. Gave us good instructions regarding how to navigate the town with some key points for those that just arrived and know nothing about were they are. Their dog Smutje is very endearing, even though she is not as given. Still a very funny and nice presence. The place is fantastic looks like an old Roman house, with two amazing terraces. One small in the higher part of the house and the ground floor terrace. Definitely a place worth visiting and staying at Casa d'Alte for a while and just take in the peace. 10/10 would recommend

Stayed in this Villa with my bridesmaids before our wedding at As Fontes. It’s a lovely apartment and perfect location. Everything was clean & tidy on arrival, and the host was lovely, easily contactable and got back to me quickly! Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Alte.

A lovely, beautifully decorated home, with an added bonus of a private area with a little pool. The area is nice and quiet. Check-in and check out was very easy, the information was sent via booking.com. We had some questions before arriving, that were answered right away by the host. We stayed for two nights. Comfortable beds and everything we needed (iron and ironing board was essential as we were going to a wedding). We arrived by taxi and didn't have a car during our stay, but it was no problem walking to the city centre, and to Fonte Grande. It took us about 20 minutes to walk to each place from the house. We loved our stay!
