We arrived to a very warm welcome from the owner and his son. There was lovely snacks and a bottle of wine. There was lots of ice, which was a lovely bonus. Next morning, we received pastries for breakfast. Thank you so much for a wonderful break and we would highly recommend your place.

The property is beautiful, homely, and well- managed by the owner (and their team). We loved the fact that it was so close to our family and not in the midst of the chaos of the city. The owner responded to our queries on time. It is definitely an amazing place to spend your holiday at.

Like a home away from home, we greatly enjoyed our stay here. A short distance by car to Porto, Guimarães, Amarante and Aveiro - it was the perfect location for us to explore this part of Portugal. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed and was pet friendly too. I would highly recommend a stay here.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the attention to detail in every aspect of the service. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

We liked being in the beautiful town of Penafiel to visit our relatives. I liked the hotel, pool and staff. It was interesting that different football teams came to stay. Being from the UK it was good that we had parking available too.
