Corvo is a small island, and for a small island hotel, Comodoro does an amazing job.
It's very clean and has comfortable rooms, working WiFi, continental breakfast included in the room price - all in all, a great setting for a stay on the smallest island of the Azores archipelago.
The room was well-sized, with enough storage space. Complimentary water was provided as well.
We can only recommend it.

The room was rather big, the localization is great 5 min from the airport, in the very center of the town. The staff, especialy SOFIE is very helpful, kind and really hard working. The breakfast option is the best I have ever met: you have your box in the fridge and eat when you want. The roll breads and crackers are fresh and delicious.

Casas de Quinta was perfect for our 3 nights in Flores. Well located (near de airport and easy to go around the island, good options for restaurants and shops a short drive away), clean, remote location and nice owner.
Our room (sheep) was big enough for the 3 of us with 2 separate rooms (there is a door, but a common open ceiling… so… if you have snorers in your group, bring some ear plugs 😊).
The room is well equipped (kitchen with everything you need, washing machine etc).
We were welcomed with local cheese and wine - much appreciated and we got delicios muffins in our last evening.
There is free parking on site (to me having a rented car ia crucial as it gives you a lot of flexibility).
The host helped us with a trip to Corvo too - must do if you are in Flores for several days.

Beds were very comfortable and it’s great that breakfast is included so no need to worry about looking for that in the morning. It’s also easy to find a parking spot next tho the house. Lady doesn’t speak English but it’s not a problem cause she has friends/family who are helping her. Very good place to stay

The house is located in a picturesque, quiet place conducive to complete rest and relaxation. There are also places for leisurely walks near the ocean. The owners of the house are very attentive and friendly people who help with almost everything in any nuance. The accommodation is very comfortable and everyday details are thought out and everything is there for a comfortable stay, the nature on the island is stunning in its diversity and beauty and we went on several exciting hikes.

Nice location on the edge of the cliff, a lovely view of the coast and Corvo, some nice natural pools close by. Market and the airport - all within walking distance.
Corvo island is a unique place. Geographically, on the edge of Europe, actually already on American tectonic plate. You need to take at least 2 or 3 flights to get there from Portugal, not talking about to get to Portugal. Flight getting cancelled because of the weather, as the island is right in the middle of the Atlantic ocean and weather for all Europe is "cooked" right here, above Azores islands.
On 17 square kilometers lives about 400 people and 1300 cows. Island has one main road of 10km, 800m long runway for small Q200 planes for landing, 1 volcanic black sand beach, 1 ATM, 1 bank,1 policeman, 1 post office, 1 gas station, 1 church,3-4 places to eat and 2 hotels. Island got the first electricity and telephone in 1973, before that they use smoke signals to communicate with nearby Flores Island.
Vila do Corvo is the smallest island capital in Europe, smaller city in Portugal, and the island itself is the northernmost and smallest from all Azores island.
Nearest island is Flores 18th south, and then the distances to closest land rising in hundreds kilometers - 1900km from Portugal coast, 2000km from Canadian Newfoundland, 2100km from Moroccan coast, 2500km from Greenland coast and 4400km from the South American coast.
Main attraction is a Caldeirao, collapsed volcanic caldera with lagoons, about 6 km up above the village, 3h walk up.
Why choose Corvo?
For its views, tranquility, greenery, birdwatching. trekking to Caldeirao, for its remoteness.

An island which seems to survive from tourism.
An island which seems to survive from tourism. In the morning several boats come with tourists from Flores to take a van tour up to the crater and explore there a bit as a single day tour. We spent two nights on the island and both agreed that a single day tour seems stressful and makes it difficult to enjoy this quiet and secluded place. There is a hiking trail which takes roughly 4h to reach the crater, then explore there and either walk down the road or take one of the vans back. There is only one restaurant on the island which wasn’t so great. However there are also two food trucks where the locals go to eat and have a few beers. We tried one of them and were positively surprised.

My most favourite island of the Azores.
My most favourite island of the Azores. Very relaxing holiday feeling as there are hardly any cars, under 400 inhabitants only, everything within a walking distance (oh maybe the Caldera needs a car transfer). There are a few grocery shops, a bakery and a restaurant.
Beautiful beach with the sunset views, also fantastic campsite.
Easy boat transfer to Flores island where you can book a day tour.
Daily flights from Horta and Ponta Delgada
