I thoroughly enjoyed my long stay at Alegria Rustica, Anna and Mark were such lovely hosts and really made me feel welcome and ensured I was always happy and comfortable during my stay. The breakfasts were great and filling, lots of organic items like fruit and eggs included from their own garden as well. A great place to visit for some peace and quiet outside the major cities where you can really enjoy the great summer weather and explore the beautiful nature that can be found in central Portugal. There are some great hikes in the area.

Amazing experience from start to finish. We arrived at sunset, which made the place look even more magical. This is not just an Instagram spot, it’s a well-designed, thoughtfully built home where every detail feels carefully considered. The self check-in process was easy, everything was spotless, the jacuzzi was already warm, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The temperature inside was ideal, and the space had absolutely everything we could possibly need, both in the kitchen and the bathroom. There were even bicycles available for guests to use.

A very nice cozy house with a big roofed outdoor sitting area. Even that there is no kitchen, a fridge is offered to the guests and some free coffee is available. Perfectly clean and comfortable bed! Absolutely no traffic noise or other disturbances. Train station with a few connections of Alferrarede and Abrantes just 50m away, but few trains running!
