I thoroughly enjoyed my long stay at Alegria Rustica, Anna and Mark were such lovely hosts and really made me feel welcome and ensured I was always happy and comfortable during my stay. The breakfasts were great and filling, lots of organic items like fruit and eggs included from their own garden as well. A great place to visit for some peace and quiet outside the major cities where you can really enjoy the great summer weather and explore the beautiful nature that can be found in central Portugal. There are some great hikes in the area.

did the AdventureCountryTrack by motobike and found this jewel by chance. very beautiful and very friendly owner and staff. highly recommended. big breakfast. should have stayed longer, but I was quite in a hurry.

Although breakfast was not provided the owner treated us to some local fresh bread, jam and a bottle of wine. Outside spaces are always very welcome too, the views were great. It's a great place to stay for a few days!

The house is done up in a wonderful way. It has a great layout and a kind interior :) with eye for detail, nice materials and respect for the history of the house! We loved that is felt very local in the middle of the village. The host are super kind and communicative.

Quiet beautiful location, spacious and comfortable house with all the amenities! The owner was very friendly and helpful, letting us check in a bit earlier and leaving some coffee and cookies for us. Would definitely recommend and will definitely come back. Great value for money, specially for bigger groups or families.
