PortugalEverything, spotless clean place, close to the motorway but super silent inside and little noise on the patio as the vegetation muffles the noise. Recently renovated, this warm and comfortable place accommodates three explorers like us without any problem. Check in was easy as clapping one's hand thanks to the precise indications of the very friendly and attentive host. Will definitely go back there.
The house is a short drive from the city of Abrantes and the Castelo de Almourol that are really worth visiting.

Pedestrian friendly town center.
Pedestrian friendly town center. Great views from an absolutely beautiful park by the castle. It's overlooked as a good tourist destination. A new museum has just opened that is definately worth seeing.

We arrived on a Sunday evening and our host kindly phoned...
We arrived on a Sunday evening and our host kindly phoned round to find a restaurant open and book dinner for us. He organised a taxi to the airport for us the following day and made us feel that nothing was too much trouble. Jose was very warm and welcoming and we thorough.ly enjoyed the time we spent there. Would highly recommend him and his lovely Quinta.
