What an amazing hotel! Set in a beautiful park with a river flowing beside the hotel, it is an oasis of peace and quiet. Everything is just perfect from checkin with attentive and accommodating staff, the beautiful luxurious room to the wonderful breakfast and lovely pool overlooking the river. One feels like one is in a spa getaway...everything was just beyond perfect! It was great to just park at the door and relax! Loved our stay and can highly recommend!

It was a decent sized room with a comfortable bed and a balcony. Bathroom excellent. Make sure to make an appointment for the "spa" indoor heated pool with sauna, steam room, and a lovely ambience.

10/10 across the board. Best location in town. Woke up to the sounds of a flutist in the square. Receptionists are very welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The breakfast was incredible. Amenities superb. Perfect.

Amazing historical town with a lot of history. The CONVENT and CASTLE were beautiful. Truly worth the UNESCO title. Town is very walkable and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes to enjoy. Would've stayed an extra day...

Loved visiting the historic city of Tomar and the historic sights and posing with a Knights Templar. The Thomar Boutique Hotel is very nice, clean, and modern on the inside... and they have a very nice breakfast buffet.

The Town is well cared for, small and picturesque, with a lot of charisma. Many near by towns also easy accessible and only 80mins from Lisbon. The nature around brings peace and the people are pleasant.

Tomar is a beautiful city, with several interesting...

Tomar is a beautiful city, with several interesting locations and cafeterias. There're plenty of free parking lots near Letreiro "Tomar". Sure, the Convent and its gardens are important places to visit, but it's better to go there by car if you have one. Also, A Moagem - Fábrica das artes and around it. Parque do Mouchão is great for taking a walk or sitting with a drink on the bank. For food, I recommend Insensato Café-Livraria, and Le P'tit Français for French croissants.

We spent one night here on our way from Lisbon to Porto. 1...

We spent one night here on our way from Lisbon to Porto. 1 night was the perfect amount of time to tour the Knights of Templar snd Christ Convent. I appreciated that the hotel was able to book a car service to take us to Porto the next day.

Having a walking tour and a tour of the Covento with Monica...

Having a walking tour and a tour of the Covento with Monica from GuruWalk is highly recommended. She was brilliant and really enhanced our stay by showing us small things we would never have noticed. Tomar is a very pretty Portuguese town. Nearby are the monastaries of Alcobaca and Batalha both world heritage sites and easy to visit. Tomar was a great base for our visit.

We were driving through Portugal and at the last minute decided to stop in Tomar to see the Convent of Christ and the Castelo of Tomar. I selected the hotel based on reviews and it was a huge plus. Our room opened right onto the main square and was in walking distance to everything. Our room was very comfortable and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious too! If we are ever fortunate enough to go back to Tomar we would definitely stay here again.

A very modern hotel positioned beside the river, in the centre of Tomar, close to the main town a many restaurants. The staff were excellent and accompanied us to the room, pointing out all the facilities on the way. The hotel consists of 2 buildings joined by a covered walkway across a road, very cleverly modernised. Excellent breakfast. Will probably go back again.
