This is a very special place, and on my next visit to Portugal, it will be on the top of my list as somewhere I will definitely return to. I rarely come across a place that has been created with fabulous taste and so much love of perfection and warmth. A perfectly renovated traditional property with authentic antique decor and furnishings. We had a challenging uphill bike ride to reach but on arrival the owner welcomed us into the traditional kitchen, sat us down at the enormous table and offered us delicious homemade cake with tea or coffee. As they do not serve dinner, she suggested a great restaurant where we had a very memorable meal and wine in a mountain setting. The breakfast was the most delicious one of our 3 week trip, which included their own amazing honey and jams plus a large variety of quality local products. Everything about this place was special, one of our favourites ever!

Great location a few minutes drive from the city center (per Google, about 20 minute walk). Free private parking on sight. Quiet neighborhood. Well heated rooms, comfortable bed and pillows, slept well. Hot water and nice water pressure in shower. Friendly and helpful hostess recommended a nice restaurant in town for dinner. Highly recommend, would stay again.

Property located in nice quiet village, easy to locate. The rooms were very clean and tidy with very spacious comfortable bed. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating which made our stay very pleasant. Swimming pool is kept clean and a very nice feature for the stay.
