The house is spacious and full of natural light. Even though we visited in winter, the house was warm and cozy, thanks to the two air conditioning units that provided excellent heating. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Upon my request, he kindly provided slippers for the house, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. A special highlight of our stay was the delicious homemade cake prepared for us by the owner’s wife – it was absolutely amazing and made us feel so welcome! The house itself is impeccably clean and fully equipped with everything you need, including a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable living spaces. The location is fantastic, surrounded by stunning nature and close to hiking trails. The views from the windows were spectacular, especially during sunrise and sunset. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking to explore northern Portugal while enjoying the comfort and hospitality that make you feel right at home. A big thank you to the owners for their exceptional kindness and attention to detail!

Very helpful and nice host. The house was well equipped and located in an awesome area - close to nature but also not far from towns and cities we wanted to visit. We appreciated the privacy and space for dogs to have fun very much! Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful vacation in nature.

Clean, warm (it's winter) and comfortable. Arrival instructions were clear, the place was ready, and it's easy to control the temperature, with plenty of hot water. Nice and quiet, and a very short stroll from the castle and espigueiros.

Paradamonte is a nice village close to the National Park...

Paradamonte is a nice village close to the National Park Peneda Gerês, with lots of waymarked walks. very spread out village with lots of interesting water features,( two dams nearby) lots of open woodlands to walk your dog, and close to nice towns and cities.
