We had a wonderful stay at Casa Riad Yasmin in Silves. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained, with a charming atmosphere that made us feel relaxed from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and decorated with great taste. The hosts were extremely kind and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. The location is also perfect for exploring Silves . A special thank you to Jane, who made an amazing birthday surprise for me during our stay — it was truly thoughtful and made the experience even more memorable. Also, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared . We truly enjoyed our stay !

The house had everything we needed and more for our stay. The hosts could not have been more helpful, the decor is beautiful and it was a real home away from home in a great location. The house is very welcoming, cosy, and well equipped. Sally was a wonderful host: she had the heating on when we arrived in the evening and welcomed us with a lovely welcome hamper. On check-out day, she also kindly took us to the train station. Great location and everything you need for a perfect stay.

A beautiful old town steeped in history.

A beautiful old town steeped in history. Great for a day trip or a few days stay. Eating out is very affordable. Do try the tascas (traditional bars) and make sure to get a bufinas at Bufinas do Marinho (provided you eat pork)

It was absolutely spotless.

It was absolutely spotless. We had a problem with our room door and we were immediately moved to a new room. Very quiet. A lovely big terrace off the bar area with a view of the castle. Very close to the downtown area, about a ten minute downhill walk(which of course means uphill on the way back). Beautiful pool area, which we did not use. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

A beautiful, mediaeval town with a castle and lots of local history. Fantastic restaurants of all kinds, the local residents are exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Don't come here for a wild time, it is several miles from a beach but you can easily get there by car or taxi, and there are no night clubs here either. Just go for the culture, countryside and the wonderful food and wine. NB>>the castle and cathedral are up a very long and steep hill with slippery, cobbled narrow roads, so consider this if you are of restricted mobility.

I liked everything about this town.

I liked everything about this town. There was a lot of lovely restaurants also. The river walk is wonderful and great to see the local people out enjoying themselves. Musaika restaurant has marvellous food and people lovely. Traditional Fado singer and musicians on Sunday nights - superb. A lovely refined heritage town. The castle is also very beautiful with lovely gardens.

Silves is a small town with a river running through it that isn't too "Touristy". There are plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and cafes. The cathederal and the Castle are worh a visit and the Medieval festival was jolly! Beaches are an easy drive away Its great if you're looking for a quieter holiday but still with enough variety of places to eat to keep you going for a week or two!

Loads of interesting history and some amazing locations to visit. Everywhere was walking distance, although some may find some of the inclines a little challenging. Ubers are plenty, cheap and the drivers are very professional and friendly. Indeed everyone there was, in my experience, friendly and welcoming and very helpful. I always felt very welcome and at ease. The restaurants and bars were great - the food and drink (especially the rose wine and port), was exceptional. Just one word of warning - the mosquitoes (certainly in April) were voracious and vicious. Take some repellant with you, along with your favourite antihistamine if you are sensitive to insect bites.

Orange Grove is set on a small hill surrounded by orange trees with pretty views over the surrounding countryside. All is quiet and the quality of the installations and the pool make for a relaxing and delightful place to stay. The owner, Filipi, is a charming and attentive host. Nearby, the pretty and historic town of Silves has an excellent choice of cafes, restaurants and three large supermarkets. As Silves is inland from the coast, it is not swamped with tourists.

Everything was perfect, the house is very cute, clean, the outdoor terrace with the jacuzzi is perfect for a barbecue or just enjoying a drink with your friend. Also our host was amazing, she was very kind making sure we had everything we need. Highly recommend it and also Silves is a beautiful town, really close to all the nice beaches.

The villa is great for the big family and Group of friends. Very spacious, 3 bathrooms, big rooms and mamy facilities. The pool is very nice and our kids loved it. Villa is Just around the corner from Silves, you can się Silves castle from the first floor and terraces.
