Welcoming and friendly staff. We had a non-standard payment situation, we tried to help with all our might so that it would be more profitable for us! And they helped!!! I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. Cosy stay, had a nice cot set up for the baby, the bed and furniture are top quality and the staff (including the very cute and friendly cat) were great. We checked in late at night but not a problem, room was nice and warm and breakfast was good for a family. I have seen some reviews about the noise from outside but the traffic was minimal in my opinion and did not bother us at all.

The city is interesting to visit but the air company that flies there,has some isues.First they changed the departure hour so I got there at 4 in the morning. I left Bacau with 5 hours delay.Because of this a negative experience!

Excellent location in downtown Bacau located in a quiet retreat. Spotless, A/C, extremely gentle staff and owner, cute terrasse, fog-cooled, secure parking. Breakfast onsite and delicious coffee, you may even order lunch. Good ratio quality-price.

Bacau is an interesting place, surrounded by lovely countryside. The traffic in the town centre can be very congested at times and seems to be a total free for all with every driver making up their own rules !

An ordinary city in Romania.

An ordinary city in Romania. Wouldn't put it on my map to visit it . The surroundings might be of interest but I really cannot testify to that nor against as I only stayed in the city. Beautiful girls / women ( as I married one from Bacau and visiting for the past 9 years ), a few good places to eat out, a few clubs. So there might be some night life. Use it as a base would make sense.

Bacau has an airport so that is why most people go, it is...

Bacau has an airport so that is why most people go, it is not a bad place to spend a couple days, the people are friendly enough prices are not too high and then you can drive somewhere else. Like Onesti, a 30 mile drive south to see where Nadia Comaneci was born.

This is by far the best hotel in Bacau. Amenities are very good, the breakfast is excellent and the staff is professional and always ready to help. Many thanks to Mihai and Eugen, who made our stay special. Casa Rebeca restaurant next to the hotel is very good and also offers a 10% discount for the hotel guests. We will be back at Dumbrava and Casa Rebeca next time when we visit Bacau!

I come always at this Hotel many times per yers but now when I went on 10th September to 11th I was very disappointed The bed not have a duvet with shets gave just a very small shets like towel I ask the lady at the Reception and she was 😡 asking out any explanation So I ask to give me a blanket wich the security men is bringing out shets is not safty for my skin

Great hotel with great facilities. Rooms are spacious, with a hint of medieval decor. Great buffet breakfast with both sweet and continental options. They also have a restaurant and a brewery that I highly recommend.
