I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. Cosy stay, had a nice cot set up for the baby, the bed and furniture are top quality and the staff (including the very cute and friendly cat) were great. We checked in late at night but not a problem, room was nice and warm and breakfast was good for a family. I have seen some reviews about the noise from outside but the traffic was minimal in my opinion and did not bother us at all.

The staff were REALLY fantastic and could even communicate with me in English!!! Andreea and all the ladies at reception and the cleaners too. The cleaning lady was very understanding that I didn't want anyone in the room. I have privacy issues. She was lovely about it. They were all so nice and friendly AND helpful. We really wanted to take the bed covers (duvet) home with us. They were AWESOME. And the beds were SO comfortable. Shower worked VERY well too.

It's a great place for relaxing and resting in the wonderful place! Clean rooms and bed linen! Every day the stuff changes towels. There is a clean swimming pool with warm water. Breakfasts are included and they are quite good. And we could even find rice porridge for our small kid

The older lady in reception was really lovely, attentive and kind. Really pleasant and helpful. The hotel had a really classy and clean look. The room was clean, fresh and comfortable with a beautiful view of the city.

We liked the courtyard with the river, the mill and the decorations, the friendly and guest-oriented staff, the varied and rich breakfast, the room prepared with everything you need, the shower with music, the linen and the craft beer produced there

I understand that one shouldn't have high expectations for a two-star hotel. Besides, the nearest hotels that Booking.com showed were more expensive. Moreover, the location is excellent. There was an issue with the lock (it was broken), but it was repaired fairly quickly.

Although a bit difficult to locate at first, the hotel was placed in the perfect location, at the edge of a pine forest, both beautiful and quiet. The receptionists were very nice and helpful, one of them looking for the most secure parking spot for our motorcycle, while the other showed us to our room. Speaking of the room: very large and clean, with new furniture and bathroom amenities. A plus for the walk-in shower cabin, the quiet A/C and the comfortable bed. There was even a small balcony, overlooking the pine forest. The "a la carte" breakfast took place at a nearby terrace (where we also dined in the previous evening), which was in among the pine trees - very good price/quality report and good service. Also, even if we didn't use them, there are 2 pools (one indoor, one outdoors), which looked quite clean and popular.

Slanic is a beautiful place, and the hotel is in a superb Location. The restaurant is nice whether it's just for a drink or a meal. They have a Wooden sauna and hot pool outside, but outside the hotel, but you need to book for this the day before. That was a bit of fun. Staff were friendly, and all in all it was a lovely few days, even though one night they had a wedding there. I seemed to sleep very well in our room, but I was under the influence of lovely Romanian wine most nights 🤣
