Peaceful, quiet, great staff, felt like a trip back in time almost. The nice lady who welcomed us is one of the nicest people I met. The way she takes care of the place and the multitude of cats there, is amazing. The interiors are well preserved and provide the complete experience, with the full extent of what that entails.

Lovely cosy accommodation. Brilliant communal area a few steps away where you could prepare food, have a coffee and use fridge etc. If you like cats you will love this place. Although if you don't they don't tend to bother you either. Cosmino couldn't welcome us enough and told us about a lady in the village that sold traditional Romanian cheese. We went to see her and bought some beautiful homemade cheese. There was a very small village shop/bar where we had 2 beers for less than £2. If you want lively then this little saxon village isn't for you. If you want to see Romania for its traditions then you need to stay here.

Impeccable cleanliness, delicious food made with local ingredients and a wonderful host who kept us company and even prepared our breakfast early in the morning so we can continue our hiking trip in time. Very friendly host, lovely location. The access to a shared kitchen was so practical. Nice garden area where you can chill out after a long day. Cute old village, charming, a nice bar with very nice locals!
