We loved that place! Small village with no traffic, you can hear cows. The house is beautiful and surely it has strong genius loci. This was our best place in Romania!

The entire place is exceptionally clean and decorated with balance and good taste; very quiet and comfortable room. The very good breakfast was prepared for us at the agreed time. The owner is like a human Wikipedia in terms of the local (tourist) attractions and he was very willing to share useful details with us.

Everything was clean, nice and quiet. We arrived on a rainy day and the view from the window was outstanding, lots of trees 🌲. The breakfast they provided was very delicious and for dinner the menu has a lot of great dishes, mostly traditional Romanian dishes which are very delicious and has a good price. Also Daniel the waiter who served us is a very nice and polite young lad.

Located directly next to Gilău Lake, Motel Gilau offers a restaurant serving international menu or local fish dishes, and a summer terrace overlooking the lake.

We used this hotel on the way home for a day. It was a good choice, as it is not far from the main road, and one can avoid the traffic of Cluj to get there. The room was comfortable, silent and clean, the staff was friendly. The view was beautiful from the balcony. The reastaurant is good: nothing fancy, but good food for normal price. One can order breakfast for a price between 20-30 lei depending on the choice. (Coffee is not included in the price.)

Great views. You can take a walk around the property, in the forest, play golf. There are a lot of places to take great pictures especially in the Fall. Great welness and spa. It has more than 6 spa where you can relax and enjoy peace and quiet. Indoor pool , salt bath and everything you could think of.
