Suceava has many points of historical interest, starting...

Suceava has many points of historical interest, starting with the ruins of the old voyevodal citadel, and the surrounding Moldavian orthodox churches. In the central park there is even a Roman Catholic church. Suceava is conveniently located so that nearby atractions could be easily reached. To the South there are the Agapia and Varatic monasteries and the ruins of the Neamtului citadel. To the North, towards the Ukrainian border, there are the most famous painted monasteries, dating back from the 15th and 17th centuries. A must see would be Dragomirna, Sucevita, Moldovita, Humor, Voronet and Putna. To see all these, and much more, one would have to plan for 2 or 3 days spent in the area.

The town itself is not particularly attractive owing to the destruction of the older buildings under the communist regime however there are some interesting places to see. It is a good location for visiting the UNESCO World Heritage painted monosteries in Bucovina.

the city is very nice and has lots of facilities . it helps...

the city is very nice and has lots of facilities . it helps to know romanian since very few speak and understand a different language, people are very nice and in most cases would do what they can to help you. I had also a feeling that there was very little crime in that city and i didnt confront any petty events. it has a good public transportation and it is easy to get around . i eat in different places fast food and restaurants it all was fine and as expected

We hardly had time for the city, as we were busy visiting...

We hardly had time for the city, as we were busy visiting the monasteries around it, which we highly recommend: Putna, Dragomirna, Gura Humorului, Voroneț, Sucevița, Moldovița, Agapia, Văratec. We managed to find some time for the city fortress, which we also recommend.

This city is much more interesting than the thousands of transit passengers who pass it by on their travels might think. Suceava is cool, inexpensive, with a bunch of hidden gems and sights in different parts of the city.

Suceava is a beautiful city which reflects the beauty of the whole region. The fortress is a must see, by day or by night, it looks exceptional. The city center is cute, great cafes and beautiful churches.

The Province Hotel in Suceava is a peaceful spot, right next to a forest. It's so quiet and away from city noise, making it the perfect place to relax. They also serve a tasty breakfast that's a great start to the day. Additionally, they have a spacious guest room where you can spend wonderful time admiring the beautiful interior design. I'm so excited to stay here; it's truly the best spot I've found for a peaceful getaway.

Great stay at Hotel Zamca Suceava! The room felt modern, clean, and comfortable, with a very tidy bathroom and a nice shower. Breakfast was simple but fresh and well presented. Only suggestion: please add an English version of the restaurant menu (not only Romanian) — Google Lens works, but it’s much nicer to choose without using a phone. Highly recommended!

A gem in Suceava Everything was perfect! The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and conveniently located right in the city center. I especially appreciated the professionalism of the receptionist; he was very attentive and helpful throughout my stay. I truly enjoyed my time here and highly recommend this hotel!

Very good and warm accommodation near city center. Very clean and comfortable for staying. It has all that you need (shampoo, shower gel, teeth cleaning accessories, towels, etc.). 5 minutes on foot located Balada hotel where you can have a nice breakfast, also the same time on foot located pharmacy.
