Jeddah is my favorite city in Saudi Arabia. I love the Red Sea. The people of Jeddah are nice and friendly. They help you when you need help. They're receptive, smiley, and pleasant to talk to. They have excellent restaurants where you can eat high-quality food in a pleasant environment.

I first came to Jeddah in 2010 and enjoyed it then and often though if I was to be relocated to Saudi I would love to be based in Jeddah. Been many times since and the place is amazing these days. Great vibe and vitality and a genuinely nice city.

Jeddah is an old city, not much difference from other cities in Saudi Arabia. If you are Filipino, you will not feel bored as there are plenty of Filipino restaurants and hangout places where Filipinos flock.
Traffic is unbearable. If you are used to Eastern life, the West may not be for you as the cars are really bumper to bumper.

Available activities to do during the day, are too pricey. They should have reasonable price for Turism, day trips and people can also incorporate this experience with shopping at Jeddah. Jeddah should be competitive with Turkey, Morocco etc, we're you can visit local places at reasonable entries prices so that volume of people would like to come for site seeings even an open bus to enjoy the Town, restaurants atmosphere for everyone to visit rather than for catching the plane back home.

An interesting city with an abundance of history.
An interesting city with an abundance of history. Hire a private guide as it is not yet well set up for DIY tourists. The fish market is very interesting, the Red Sea museum a little underwhelming but worth doing, it won’t take long. The old town is worth exploring and is undergoing a lot of appropriate renovations.

Jeddah is a bit too big, so you can barely walk around.
Jeddah is a bit too big, so you can barely walk around. It's nice to visit the Al-Balad (Old Town) and the Corniche area, but even then, you will likely have to drive to places.
There's not much to see in Jeddah, but I would ABSOLUTELY recommend that you go scuba diving in the Red Sea! Absolutely amazing experience! There are also other cool things you can do, like visiting the desert or horse riding on the beach.
Overall, I'd say you can probably see the best of Jeddah in 3 days.

We only stayed there for 12 hours to due flight be so early in the morning so during our stay, the staff were really helpful and kind. They helped us with everything, even for our cousin who booked elsewhere but was stranded so I spoke to receptionist and they said they can come to this hotel as they had a room. Last minute cleaning and got them settled very quickly. All so kind and listen to us when we needed them. Spacious roooms which was lovely and very clean. Bengali cleaner which helped a lot.

Good size room, excellent value for money, all the necessary facilities in the room, had an excellent sleep, good AC. The only niggle was finding the road on the listing, the hotel is on a large shopping street so there must be a road name that google can find, found by B IT fitness (Al Marwah) as this is next door and easy found on google maps, other than that excellent option near main routes and airport, clean to a good standard, cooking facilities reasonable neighbourhood, easy parking
