It's super central and a great deal. The breakfast buffet is awesome, and the staff is really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything you'd need. The only thing is that the standard rooms don't all have the same view. Mine wasn't the best, but it was fine. Overall, it's a really, really good hotel. Definitely recommend it.

I liked the value for money, location, and friendly professional staff... It was much better for my needs than a 5* hotel. No Breakfast, even though there was a kitchen and a supermarket delivery service, they know and were able to mitigate that, so it's actually good service from them to proactively have it there. Praying mat, Qur'an and TVs in both living and bedroom.

The Capital of Old and New

The Saudi Arabian capital, sprawling Riyadh is a mix of historic monuments and ultra-modern skyscrapers. On a plateau surrounded by desert, it is one of the Middle East’s richest cities, so there are several 5-star hotels in Riyadh.

This wealth is also evident in modern architecture, particularly the Kingdom Centre, a perfectly sculpted building looking strangely like a bottle opener. Lit at night, it has an observation deck offering fantastic city views.

On its bottom floor is a shopping mall, and there is another within Al Faisaliyah, the country’s 1st skyscraper. Riyadh is a shopping paradise and yet more malls are on wide, palm-lined King Fahd Road. This king also gave his name to King Fahd Stadium, home of the Saudi football team.

Unusually for a capital, King Khalid International Airport is right in the city centre and there are lots of Riyadh hotels near the airport on Booking.com. South, in Al Murabba, is the King Abdulaziz Historical Centre, site of the Saudi Arabia National Museum. Further south in Dirah is 19th-century Al-Masmak fort with souks and mosques nearby.

Wherever you stay, remember that Saudi Arabia is a deeply Islamic country and that local customs should be respected. Men and women may not be able to access attractions at the same time.

Riyadh is the city of future and the present and the past. if you are interested on the past you will find a lot of places that will show you the history of the Saudi Arabia and if you are interested to know about future you will see the Hugh growth around you. in present you will see the city as world class type. Riyadh now classified as one of the top 10 capital city in the world. if you are not from the region I really advise you strongly to come and you will never regret.

Riyadh is a vibrant and fast-developing city that offers a mix of modern attractions and cultural heritage, making it a rewarding destination to explore. One of the main challenges I noticed was the traffic, both on the roads and during busy times on the metro. Planning your schedule carefully really helps—leaving earlier in the day and avoiding peak evening hours can make getting around much smoother and less stressful. Some of my favourite places included iconic landmarks like Kingdom Centre and Al Faisaliah Tower, which offer incredible views of the city. For a more cultural experience, Diriyah is a must-visit, showcasing the rich history and heritage of Saudi Arabia in a beautifully restored setting. When it comes to dining, Riyadh has a wide range of excellent options. Restaurants such as Najd Village offer authentic local cuisine in a traditional atmosphere, while The Globe provides a more upscale experience with stunning views. Getting around Riyadh is manageable, but it does require some planning. Driving or using ride-hailing apps is often the most convenient option, especially for families. While the metro is expanding and improving, it can get crowded during peak hours, so timing your trips is important. For families with young children, there are plenty of enjoyable activities. Riyadh Zoo is a great place for kids to explore and learn about animals, while King Abdullah Park offers open spaces, play areas, and relaxing spots for a family day out. Many shopping malls also include entertainment zones for children, making them a convenient and fun option. Overall, Riyadh offers a well-rounded experience with something for everyone—great food, cultural landmarks, and family-friendly attractions—just be sure to plan around the traffic to make the most of your visit.

Poor urban design, especially the roads, which are dotted with potholes and other obstacles almost everywhere. Speed bumps are the same color as the road, so good luck with your suspension if you aren't already familiar with their locations. Signage is often confusing or missing, and too many drivers are careless, aggressive, and loud. Riyadh looks slick in pictures because there are some great malls and other venues once you've arrived. But unless you're in the newer developments away from the city center, getting there feels like going backwards in time (not in a good way).

My trip to Riyadh was an incredible experience that completely changed my perception of the city. It’s a perfect blend of modern luxury and deep-rooted culture. One of the highlights was visiting Kingdom Centre Tower, where the skyline views are absolutely stunning—especially at sunset. I also loved exploring Al Masmak Fortress, which gives you a real sense of Saudi history and heritage. The city is full of life, from its modern malls to traditional souks. The food scene is amazing—you’ll find everything from authentic Saudi cuisine to international fine dining. What really stood out to me was how welcoming and hospitable the people are. If you’re looking for a destination that offers culture, comfort, safety, and unique experiences, Riyadh should definitely be on your list. It’s a city that surprises you in the best way possible.

First, the french style taking over every single thing at the hotel. Second, the hotel staff were SUPER helpful and friendly. Third, the safety I felt there as I was a bit worried to be a solo traveler in Riyadh. And last but not least, the location, everything is super close to me so I can get any place in a maximum of 30 mins with traffic including the airport, and if I need something delivered, it gets to the hotel very easily and fast. P.s. forgot to mention the DELICIOUS food they have at the restaurants at the ground floor.

Riyadh's high street, Olaya street, is alive nowadays with coffee corners and outside terrases and has its brand new metro connecting you to the north and south of the city. It is probably the best location in the city. No nonsens professional hotel. Good beds, spacious room with a desk and both bath and separate shower. It has a nice lounge on the top floor with copies of Arab News and free drinks and snacks (for rooms on the higher floors).
