Loved our stay at the Elite Hotel in Halmstad — amazing vibe, beautiful interiors, and outstanding breakfast. Great mix of cafés, restaurants, co-working areas, and a well-equipped gym. Staff truly care, which makes all the difference. Stayed in both standard and superior rooms — both gorgeous, but the upgrade is worth it. We enjoyed it so much we booked an extra night. Lovely small city for an introduction to life in Sweden. Worthy of a stop off on the way to bigger cities such as Goteborg. Was well located to stop at, as we were traveling to Goteborg for a concert. Good train links from Copenhagen. Good places to eat Krog &. Co (+ Thursdays night quiz) O’learys (good for activities and food)

The rooms & bathrooms are modern, a good size with very comfortable high quality bedding. The buffet breakfast, premier lounge & dining room offer the best breakfast I have experienced & tasty food selections. This is The Hotel to stay in Halmstad Sweden, conveniently located across from the bus & train stations that offer fast transit without any noise at the hotel. Buy the Bus/Train pass. Avoid Taxis as many cheat passengers. Loved my experience at the ProfilHotels-Halmstad Plaza. Characters: 595

A wonderful town, I recommend visiting the nearby town of Tylösand, where there is an amazing big beach. From Halmstad you can walk along the Prins Bertils stig path around the sea, or by bike, the ubiquitous cycle paths will delight every cyclist.

You don't have to walk around the block to go from the train...

You don't have to walk around the block to go from the train station to the hotel. There is a lift AT the station bringing you to a bridge above the railway. Once upstairs you just cross the bridge, takt the lift down and you have the hotel across the street. The hotel is also exactly in front of the bus station - to take a bus you just have to cross the road. The city center is at about 6-7 minutes walking distance. You have a beautiful walking path on the river die thst takes you yo the beach, atound 3 km away from the city centre. There is a big supermarket open until 9 p.m., 700 m from the hotel. The hotel stuff is very gentle and helpful, also if you're looking for that fifferent kind of shop or bar to visit. There are lot's of quite hidden gems in the city, with such nice cafés and restaurants in quiet, little backyards. You just have to walk in and look for what's inside, whenever you see an entrance. The pieces of art in the city centre and at the river and in the library are also very interesting, as it is the library itself. The symbol of the city has 3 hearts. You see them all over the city and feel the heartfelt atmosphere everywhere you go.

It’s not often the owner of the hotel greets you on arrival but at this family run hotel it was just one of the many lovely surprises. Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits in the stylish reception area. The breakfast room is modern which has lots of comfortable seating spots to sit and enjoy the amazing freshly cooked buffet breakfast. Very comfortable beds, spacious room and a large window that can be opened. Peaceful and relaxing stay.

Super clean and functional cabin. Well located. The service at the adjacent hotel is appreciated. Everything is quiet and well maintained. The beds are comfortable, but perhaps a little too narrow (140 cm wide). It would have been nice if they were a little wider. But that's just a minor detail. Oh yes, the surroundings are fantastic. The beach is superb.

Amazing and gentle staff members took good care of us at arrival and informed us about the hotel and local restaurants. Genuine and kind atmosphere. Neat and tidy. The lobby, restaurant and lounge had a fantastic vibe! Good gluten free and vegan options at the breakfast. Loved it! Really great value for the money!
