It's a small town, quiet and somewhat dull.

It's a small town, quiet and somewhat dull. In about a 10-to 15-minute walk, you can cover the entire centre. We were there on a Sunday evening, and it was very empty everywhere. There was hardly anywhere to eat... It's very close to Mora, so within 20 minutes, you can get to some restaurants and attractions. The area itself is beautiful in terms of nature and scenery.

Kitchen was equipped well, very homely and welcoming. Lovely outdoor garden furniture to enjoy outdoor eating. Very quiet area, lots of garden for children to play. Beds were extremely comfortable. Excellent base for exploring the area around lake Siljan, Orsa and Mora. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend this accommodation. Excellent hosts who were quick to reply to messages

Very convenient staying for participants of Vasaloppet cross-country ski race, as from Orsa there is a direct bus to start location (Salen) managed by Massexpressen company. Quiet location, friendly staff, taste breakfast. Very nearest COOP and ICA supermarkets. Apart from hotel's restaurant a couple of other restaurants, pizzerias and burger bars closely located.

We had already stayed in this hotel 5 years ago and we had a great time returning. Spacious, comfortable and perfectly clean room. In the evening we enjoyed one of the best dinners of our life. Breathtaking location overlooking the lake. Highly recommended!

A beautiful and charming house from the early 1900s. Lovely relaxing spaces around the hotel to read and recover. Also a small kitchen available. I will return. Andrew the host was very welcoming and helpful.
