The room was basic though clean, the mattress seemed soft but I got a very good night's sleep. As I was the only guest at that time and I had my own food with me, I agreed with the owner to make breakfast on my own. The bathrooms and showers were clean and fine, though some extra hooks would help. The owner/staff was very nice, and the place has a quiet and calm atmosphere.

It's a small town, quiet and somewhat dull.

It's a small town, quiet and somewhat dull. In about a 10-to 15-minute walk, you can cover the entire centre. We were there on a Sunday evening, and it was very empty everywhere. There was hardly anywhere to eat... It's very close to Mora, so within 20 minutes, you can get to some restaurants and attractions. The area itself is beautiful in terms of nature and scenery.

The hosts were so kind, friendly and helpful, they really were one of the highlights of our trip. They helped us organize all of our day trips (they have printed descriptions and itineraries for different places to visit around Orsa). The breakfast was delicious and homemade (the blueberry porridge is so good!). The terrace with a lake view is lovely and peaceful. They also provide canoes and bikes to guests which was such a lovely extra. Highly recommend!

A beautiful and charming house from the early 1900s. Lovely relaxing spaces around the hotel to read and recover. Also a small kitchen available. I will return. Andrew the host was very welcoming and helpful.
