This is was the most surprising hotel booking we made on our trip through Sweden. The pictures on booking.com did not do this place justice. We booked it because it was one of the last places left on our unplanned random trip in August. It is set on the hill overlooking the town. The hill is popular with hiking, fishing, spa wellness in the summer, and in winter is turns into a cross country ski resort.

Set in Falköping, within 5.6 km of Friggeråkers bygdegård and 10 km of Valtorps bygdegård, Hotell Syfabriken offers accommodation with a fitness centre and free WiFi as well as free private parking...

This hotel is simply a gem. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted by a team whose service is truly top-tier — professional, genuinely kind, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Everything is spotless, fresh, and thoughtfully maintained, making you feel welcome and well taken care of. One thing that really stands out is their flexibility and thoughtfulness: being given a private room to work in even after checking out is a rare and wonderful gesture that made the stay even more comfortable. On top of that, they generously offered complimentary coffee and tea, adding an extra touch of warmth. Being able to park the car right outside the hotel was another big plus, making everything smooth and convenient. Every moment here has felt easy, calm, and incredibly pleasant.

Situated less than 1 km from Skövde Arena, Västerhöjdsgården offers 3-star accommodation in Skövde and has a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace.
