The spotless clean, very nicely decorated, well maintained and well equipped cabin reminded us of the time when Astrid Lindgren’s heroes had lived. Close to Katthult and Bullerbyn or other Astrid Lindgren sites for a visit. Very nice family and friendly alpacas we got to feed. A unique experience, do highly recommend! We’ll be back when in the area.

It’s hard to say what we didn’t like, we stayed for 5 nights and were thinking about whether we could prolong our stay. Everything from the greeting upon arrival to the extremely easy check out was great. The owners were so sweet and they have truly created a place where families can relax after a long day exploring the great adventures in the area. My kids met other kids and we talked with families from different countries and we talked about that this place has created the same atmosphere you can get when going camping and the kids just play at the playground meeting friends. The playground is not big but it had everything for our kids age 5 & 2, a slide, trampoline and most importantly football/soccer. Also, not important, but just a really big bonus for a Dane who likes a good beer or a cold glass of white wine; you could buy a beer or wine at the hotel in the evening - which was super nice. It’s super close to Astrid Lindgren’s World, 3 minutes away from “Filmbyn”, 10 minutes away from a Great Lake where you can swim in shallow and child-friendly water.

The hotel is in Nature, and there are a lot of activities around: Mini gold, Paddel, tennis, bikes, boats, sauna with lake. all was complimentary. Big playground for kids, inside games for kids. Nice amazing breakfast and big yard. Better than expected. Parking is free on the site, close to Astrid Lindren world. Microwaves are in the corridors, if if you need to warm up anything.
