Wonderful location, 5 minutes walking from the Skocjan caves in a quiet neighbourhood. We booked a room for three, it was comfortable with nice bathroom. The breakfast has been prepared by our host and was delicious, we could discuss and get some suggestions for the visits and the restaurants, also a voucher for the caves. I would come back !

Nice hotel on the edge of Divača, next to highway, railway station and only 3 km from wonderful Škocjan caves. Parking in front of the hotel. Room was very clean and well equipped. Good temperature from central heating. Absolutely fantastic breakfast. Fresh eggs omelette, plate with cheese and local ham - prosciutto, vegetables, cappuccino, fresh bread. We enjoyed. Many thanks for this stay and I really recommend to others! 👍👍👍

We’ve previously stayed in another accommodation with 2 rooms, but our “smaller” single room in hotel Prunk felt more spacious and had enough room for our bags and clothes. The location may not look anything special, but you’ll be able to get to Trieste or the Miramare castle as well as other interesting destinations in Slovenia easily. We’ve also found it very convenient to have the parking lot right in the front of the building.

Divača is a quiet town/village on the railwy line between...

Divača is a quiet town/village on the railwy line between Ljubljana and Koper. It is very close to both Lipica and to skočjanske Jame. These caves are my favourites in Slovenia, although not to be visited if you have a problem walking.. The park surrounding the caves is very beautiful too. Divača itself is quiet, but has a Cinema museum, which is popular with those interested in early silent films. There area few trains three each day, and also a bus service during the week. Not at the weekend, however, as I found to my cost on another occasion when I drove a friend's car home for her - and then found there were no buses on Saturdays by which to travel back to the coast!, and the next train would have kept me late for my meeting. Luckily, there were others around to heading the same way. While Skočjam and Lipica are open all year, there are also smaller caves in the area which are open only in the tourist season. To drive there from the coast takes about 30 minutes, and about the same driving time will take you to Postojna and the more famous caves there, or to Predjamskigrad, an amazing Castle , most of which is inside the mountain, hence its name - the castle in front of the cave.

Host super responsive, met us on arrival to access parking garage & apartment. Recommended great pizza restaurant 2mins walk away (michellin reviewd 7 yrs in row) super good value for money meal and the best gluten free pizza base ive ever eaten. Good spot as base for skojcan caves, day at coast, castle. Kitchen well equppied, clean, everything we needed even pegs to dry washing on Terrace. Divaca is a gorgeous little town to stroll after dinner with some lovely houses & gardens.

There were actually 2 bedrooms, and the one we used was really big with a nice armoire for storing our things. There was a secure garage for us to store our bicycles. The buffet breakfast was good with many options. The staff were very accommodating and we enjoyed a happy hour on the patio in front of the hotel. The attached restaurant has really good food, too. The hotel is convenient to the caves, which is nice.

Nicely furnished small apartment with everything you need for your stay. The location is in the quiet village, which is great for peaceful break and a great base for sports activities and exploring the natural beauty of the karst (Škocijan caves, Divača cave, Lipica etc). The host was very friendly and helpful.

The location is perfect to visit the caves and ideally located on the way to the south (eg. Piran etc). The room was clean. The breakfast was not extravagant but had decent choices. There is a restaurant in the hotel (convenient since there is not much around) but I didn’t try it.
