It was just stunning. Love the extra room where my friend have privacy. You can make fire, but no need, heating panels fix all. No problem with dogs. Oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, all there. Lovely owners, just so nice. I am so happy i spend 4 day there.

Staff was very nice and very helpful! They even recommended some places that we can go visit and let us leave our luggage while our room was cleaned since we arrived far earlier than expected! Rooms were very clean, the bathroom came with full hygiene supplies (toothbrush, body shampoo etc.), we were given clean towels that were frequently switched out with new ones, the beds were very warm and comfortable and you even get sweets when staff cleans your room while you're away! Very nice place, would recommend to anyone!

A Hidden Gem in the Slovenian Countryside – BRIC Spa and Relax We had the absolute pleasure of staying at BRIC Spa and Relax for four days, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Ava, who immediately made us feel at home. She introduced us to the spa area, which features two beautiful saunas that can be booked privately — a wonderful touch that added to the overall sense of tranquility and exclusivity. Our room was immaculate: modern, stylish, and thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind. The spacious bathroom, efficient air conditioning, and incredibly comfortable beds ensured we had a restful stay. The highlight, however, was the balcony overlooking the picturesque Slovenian countryside — waking up to those views each morning was something special. Ava also hosted a wine tasting evening for us, showcasing a curated selection from their own vineyard. Every wine was excellent, and it was clear how passionate and knowledgeable Ava is about the vineyard and its production. The evening was enhanced by a spread of meats, cheeses, and bread — all either made onsite or locally sourced — which added a delightful culinary dimension to the experience. The location of BRIC is perfect for both relaxation and exploration. It's a peaceful retreat on its own, yet ideally situated for day trips — just 90 minutes from Lake Bled and the awe-inspiring views of Triglav National Park. It's also a short hop across the border to Italy, making it a great stop for anyone on a European road trip (a car is definitely recommended for getting around). What makes BRIC even more special is the warmth and dedication of the family who runs it. It's clear that generations have poured love and hard work into this place, creating an authentic Slovenian experience that feels both personal and genuine. Even the children added to the charm, greeting guests with smiles and hospitality.

Rence is a nice small place with a supermarket and a poststation. We enjoyed also the time on the playground and with the horses on a private farm. its nice for children. the river looks also nice. only we missed a good restaurant in rence.

A lovely spot with a church, supermarket, pizzeria, and...

A lovely spot with a church, supermarket, pizzeria, and reservoir right on the Vipara cycle path. SUP rentals are currently closed, but swimming in the reservoir is very pleasant, with a newly landscaped shoreline perfect for sitting or sunbathing.

The landlords are very friendly and helpful. Location: often noisy, very difficult to reach without a car. There are no restaurants or bars in the village where you can get something to eat. More suitable for short stays.
