The place is exceptional in every sense. Beautiful location with wonderful views from the balcony. The walk to town was easy and pleasant. The hotel is well designed, the decor is well chosen and carefully planned. Our family apartment (2 rooms) and a bathroom were very spacious. Breakfast was heavenly with such a great choice of local produce (incl. kombucha!) and it was a treat to eat outside admiring the view across the river. So much love and attention to detail everywhere: very warm welcome upon arrival, a hand-written welcome card in the room along with small treats, excellent tea in the room. Staff members were excellent, friendly, professional, welcoming. This place is such a gem!

The hotel is really beautiful. An old castle converted into a hotel where even the staircase lighting was taken care of so the lamp looks old-fashioned with the novelty of a motion sensor to be ESG (saving and caring for the planet Earth). The room is small, but so nicely decorated and in the end it seems spacious. The beds are comfortable, the room is clean. Oh yes, there are a bunch of sockets - that really impressed me. :-) The tap water is of course drinkable, but the hotel also prepared a bottle and glasses with a description that the water is drinkable. The breakfast is very rich (just bring those small packaged butters). The location of the hotel is great, central and yet so quiet. Parking is 50-100 m from the hotel, but it is free and it is straight from the parking lot to the entrance to the hotel so you can drag/push your suitcase neatly.

I like everything, vintage and simple. The bathroom is very clean latterly shiny .The owners are incredibly friendly. Breakfast was tasteful , location very nice 7 min away driving from the center of Tolmin and 20 min away from soca river view point and kozjak waterfalls.

Lovely accommodation with everything you could hope for and more! What a lovely area as well. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda, having a glass of wine overlooking the small town. A bonus for us was the church bells - for some it might be load but we loved it as it formed part of the whole experience. Parking is right at the building and very convenient. When they say the road is immediately on the left as you come into town at the garage, don't look for an modern road, it is a small single paved road leading into the old town and it is indeed immediately, sharp left once you see the cafe on the right. (They sell nice ice cream at this cafe.) We went for early morning hikes around the lake and it was some of the most beautiful scenery we saw. Thank you for having us.
