This property is so beautiful it was like out of a dream. Our igloo was clean and upgraded. In person it looked even newer than the pictures. I didn’t know what to expect because the reviews were so low but I honestly have no idea why. Everything was so perfect. We were bummed we didn’t have time to stay longer.

Beautiful grounds. Well maintained extensive property. The swimming pool close to our room was cleaned early in the morning. The restaurant had excellent typical breakfast. Most amazing place for lasting memories.

Just a beautiful location on the lake with amazing views. The rooms are very spacious with comfortable beds, the staff super friendly and helpful and attentive. I would definitely recommend this hotel for 1 night or a longer stay.

Starting with the amazing Mediterranean breakfast, worth every penny! Surprisingly different from what we expected, unique flavors, everything was delicious. I highly recommend to order it. The cabin was breathtaking, cozy and a beautiful place to stay. 10/10

The cozy tiny cabin was great, on the edge of town and on the edge of the forest. Shops are at 5 minutes walking distance and the main road at less than 10 minutes, it is indeed not a cabin in the woods, as others have mentioned but more a cabin on a small plot of land surrounded by other people's plots. It's very peaceful nonetheless. The trail to St Ana Volcano starts here, and this trail is not known at all, we had it all to ourselves. Everyone goes to the official panorama viewpoint, which gets very crowded. We had two tours organized which were affordable and the tour guide was amazing, very friendly and just a kind person. The host was amazing and so helpful answering all my questions!! We are super grateful for all of this! They worked on little details and there are curtains now. Thank you!

    Definitely the most beautiful sunset views of Izalco volcano and the beach at the same time just step away from your room, you can also appreciate orchids naturally attached to the trees and a variety of flowers all around, the restaurant is excellent and service too. Employees are very friendly, attentive and helpful. Definitely a must visit place.

    This place is a boutique mountain paradise.

    This place is a boutique mountain paradise. At 2,000 meters ASL it’s surrounded by a national forest reserve and has espectacular views. The food was really good and the service excellent. Staff was always willing to help and go the extra mile. The road to the mountain is very good and you also get great views on your way up. There are guided trails of different difficulty and you can even climb both the Izalco volcano and the Santa Ana volcano. They’re both more demanding adventures. Great coffee and food. There are many activities available near by such as nature tours walking and ATV. You get room service whenever you want during restaurant operation hours (7:30 am-8:30pm). We had a great time, fine place for relaxing and getting close to nature. Will definitely visit again and are interested in the other Casa1800 venues.

    If you are expecting to go there for the view, forget about...

    If you are expecting to go there for the view, forget about it! You will be in the middle of the fog/ clouds the entire day! If you are lucky you will see a piece of the volcano for five minutes! That’s it!!!!

    Everything was great, I hope my suggestion of “upgrading “ the napkins for the evening service at the restaurant gets a second thought, just will really feel that you are in a great place instead of paper napkins for a great place.

    Breathtaking place with stunning views of nearby lake and volcanoes. The 45 minute guided tour is a must to get the best views, and it's free except for a cash tip you give to your guide. Entry fee is very cheap and both restaurants have a good option of meals. If you have the condition, the volcano tours are the best way to experience Cerro Verde.
