I really like Atami Escape Resort, I have so many positive about Atami, great ocean views, cabana ocean views with hamak, private beach, 2 salt water pools made from lava with waves splashing near by, perfect grass and garden upkeep. The security even changed my rental car tire. Just all around excellent service and atmosphere.

Away from the craziness of downtown - but easily accessible with a short walk along the beach. Loved being on the river and looking towards the ocean to see the surfers, hear the birds (so many amazing birds), and hear the ocean. The staff and owner are superb!!! They took such great care of us - and were always friendly and approachable despite working long hours. The pools are perfect.....

This place is great. It’s a rather larger complex with several different units, each with its own feel. We were a short walk up towards the back of the property and it was perfect. They have two pools, and many different areas to relax. We enjoyed the table and hammocks right outside our spot. It’s like a village here. After I booked, one in the group noticed some bad reviews from 2018/19- there was nothing bad about our trip. The staff was great and professional. It really was like a resort, every morning staff cleaned, swept, mopped all the areas. Top notch stay.

I stayed 2 days and really enjoyed my time there. I stayed in playa st Blas during the day and drove to playa El Tunco every evening for the restaurants and the night life. Check out farallones and al acantilados hotels for a more refined experience in La libertad. The restaurant at the farallones is worth a visit at least

Beautiful beaches; it's is a shame business owners do not invest money in keeping the beaches cleaner. And some of the business owners empty waste in the ocean. So disappointing they have their business there and do not protect this beautiful beaches.

I love La libertad it has so many Beaches and places to explore. It is just amazing. If you live seafood or surfing this is the place. If you ever go there and like the living night and have fun like nightclubs visit El Tunco especially on weekends.

Prices do not reflect the value of the product. The name "Resort" doesn't go with the facility since everything is rustic. Air conditioning does not work very well. I woke up during nights several times in a cold sweat. Bathrooms had only partial enclosures that allow water into the toilet area. Number of towels was limited. Body soap and shampoo was limited or none. La Libertad is a rural area that has limited formal business. So, wondering or shopping around the hotel is not feasible. I tried to cancel one of the two nights and was told it would be too complicated to do it. Food was fine but expensive. Prices were twice as high as what was available at next door beech. I enjoyed the views, the gardens, and the night tranquility. One night would have been enough though.

I think there are other areas in El Salvador with better beaches than La Libertad but it’s worth a visit. I recommend to see El Malecón and see the local dock with fresh catch of fish ! Try cóctel de camarón, and if you have good stomach the coctel de conchas.
