Located in Santa Ana, Florence offers a garden. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. The property provides free private parking and free WiFi. Everything! Juan Carlos, the owner, was sensational and organised food delivery for me on NYE and gave me a free walking tour of Santa Ana! Even the other properties he owns which he offered look great. The location is absolutely perfect and such good value for money!
Casa Blanca Tu Casa offers accommodations in Santa Ana just 98 feet from the Madre Church of El Salvador. All rooms have a TV and private bathroom fitted with a shower. Amy is an excellent hostess that likes what she's doing. She welcomed us with a smile, made us feel at home, gave us plenty of tips and info and also prepared a great breakfast. The place was very comfortable and tidy. Would love to go back some day!

This my 6th glorious visit to Casa Verde....for that simple reason it is the best ! Established 2007 I challenge anyone to find a more gracious welcoming hostel in Santa Ana .
Santa Ana is a medium sized city tucked in the mountains. The market is fun to explore and cathedral and theatre are gorgeous. Outside of town there are ruins, volcanoes, and a lake within an hour. The town doesn't have much tourism which gives it a more authentic feel, but also means you won't find many good restaurants around the square or at night.
Fun town, lots happening, the cathedral and old arts school are nice. A good place to stay to make day trips to the lake, flower route. Stay away from the bus station area, noisy, many buses come and go. Lots of food on streets and restaurants. A good town to walk around.
Just Great all around. Great staff, I have been to Santa Ana and stayed at more expensive hotels/hostels. This place is the best option. Could not have been happier. The view from the terrace is just amazing.
Nice city that is very easy and generally safe to walk around in. You can walk anywhere in the historical area. As my first city in El Salvador, I found it dirty, lots of garbage on the streets, with lots of people begging and sleeping rough. Not much to really see in town, no museums of note, but makes a great base to visit the Santa Ana Volcano or Tazumal, both of which can be done on local buses; these are incredibly cheap and easy to navigate. You can also take a local bus to San Salvador, caught in front of the Metro Center Mall, don’t go early as these buses are packed. Wait until after ten. You can jump off anywhere once you reach San Salvador, if you know where you are going.
I was nervous about visiting El Salvador but SO glad I did. The people are truly wonderful, welcoming, friendly and helpful. We solely went to hike Santa Ana volcano but a tour at Finca El Esperanza coffee plantation gave us a true appreciation of the country, culture and its people.
Santa Ana is a wonderful city bustling with activity. We loved walking through the market and experiencing all the locals going about their day. We felt completely safe at all times. Just outside the city there is the volcano which is an easy hike and has fantastic views of the national park and the lake. Lots of nice restaurants too as well as great cheap street food! It is super easy to get around Santa Ana and you should stay in Plaza Antigua Hostel and eat at Simmer Down restaurant.
I liked the staff and their friendly attitude. Dani was great!
they take breakfast to you nice 😋
