Located 16 mi from Malkerns, Wide Horizons Mountain Retreat is set up in the majestic Makungutsha Mountains. The lodge offers rooms, cottages and tented accommodations. I loved the scenery, the rooms, it's a beautiful place to take a break from the noise. Nosipho's hospitality was amazing, thank you for making us feel at home and comfortable. I can't wait to visit again with family and friends❤️❤️
Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the Lobamba area at the end of the Ezulwini Valley. It offers different accommodations options, an outdoor pool, restaurant and a children's playground. We loved the cottages!!! It was definitely the most original place we stayed in in Africa.
YOU need to have more money to go around and be able to buy some staff there. we breath a very health fresh air there , no polluted air really.... Manzini is a great of more hospitality area its need to be properly marketed by SWAZI Government
We could have our delicious breakfast at the coffee shop in the filling station. In the market place we bought many items to take home to our friends colleagues and family. For lunch we went to chisa nyama and bought meat which we could not finish.
Bedbuggs in the bed!!! No aircon, shower, restaurant, bar or anything Else that it say on Bookings. You get a bed, Shower without curtain, toilet without seat lid and that is it!.. sorry, they did give me a fan...but could not sleep because of bedbugs biting me! had to leave.
My colleague and I were there on business and we found people to be friendly and helpful. For the first visit I think we found our way around rather well. We ate at Gil Vincente and the food was DELICIOUS! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ngwenya Glass. It was amazing to see all that was made by hand and the fact that these people are assisted in such a way to earn a living. When I told my partner how beautiful it is there, he said we will definitely arrange a long weekend in your beautiful country. Best Regards Nikki Barr
The town is a small centre with two main roads and lots of shops servicing the surrounding suburbs and villages. There are no real attractions for tourists but it is central to a few industrial areas of which the main one is Matsapha about 7 km west of the town on the main highway. There is one good quality Mall at the western end of town - Riverstone Mall. Manzini is also on the main route from the Swaziland Airport to the Ezulwini valley or Mbabane areas. Ezulwini is the key tourist destination of Swaziland. There is a bypass route around Manzini town center to avoid the many traffic lights on the two one-way access roads through town.
Manzini is a fantastic Metropolitan City, buzzing with business and social activities. It continues with Swaziland's mountainous landscapes where ever you look. There are a lot of things to do from a wide range of restaurants to dine at, to night clubs and cultural villages to visit that are good for the whole family. We found especially the tasty fish dishes exciting as they are served Mozambican style i.e. whole instead of filleted. The country is small, meaning that nothing if further than 30min away. We will definitely go back there again, and again, and again.....and again!
