The room was extremely spacious with a big balcony, from where we could see monkeys. It doesn't get too hot in the room even in the mid-day. The vibe of the place is just amazing. And people who work there are great!

Having stayed at this property for three weeks, it was a perfect place as a climber. Simple: a bed, bedside table and fan. 24/7 power which was a great bonus for Tonsai. Because the building is in the shade, it is cool at night with the fan so you get a good nights sleep! And it’s up the top end of Tonsai which means peace and quiet. Showers only have cold water which I had no issue with! Refreshing after a day out in the heat! Please be aware this is in the jungle so manage your expectations regarding insects etc. It’s completely normal for there to be mosquitoes, little critters etc! I didn’t have any mosquitoes in my room though which was great! Also - The cats are adorable!

Fantastic. Perfect for climbing - so many routes around and full of other climbers so can chat and share stories. Wonderful setting and all staff were so friendly. I wish we could stay for longer !

The staff were lovely, especially Emma. The lady who checked us in (wish I remembered her name) gave us a bunch of great island-hopping recommendations that came in really handy. The room was super clean, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom had all the essentials. Breakfast and room service were both great. The air conditioning and safe worked without any issues. We also really appreciated the free shuttle that ran at different times during the day as it made getting around so much easier. All in all, we had a great experience and would recommend them 100%!

Tee and Mark's bungalow was one of the most wonderful places we have ever stayed. We spent 10 nights here, arriving as guests and leaving as friends. Every night in the bungalow, we fell asleep to the sounds of the jungle and woke up in the morning to the sound of howler monkeys. Mark surprised us every morning with a generous Thai breakfast, so we didn't need to buy breakfast separately. We also tried Tee's restaurant several times: they cook heavenly food. The bungalow was cleaned every day and towels were changed daily. We also got a few bottles of water every day, which were stored in the refrigerator. There was a kettle and coffee powder, cups, and spoons in the room. Our bungalow didn't have air conditioning, but it cooled down so much in the evening that we didn't even need a fan. There were mosquito nets above our beds. We were able to rent motorbikes and were given lots of suggestions for things to do. Mark put together a list of his favorite places nearby. There is also a laundry not far from the bungallow, where you can drop off your clothes between 6 and 9 in the morning and they will be washed and ironed by the next day. Dear Tee and Mark, we are very happy to have met you, thank you for taking care of us and for your kind questions and advice. We will definitely be back.

The beach was secluded with no facilities around it except a long boat to Railay beach - for people who need noise and action i dont think it is the right spot - But for any adventurous person more interested in peace and nature it is fabulous Use the kayak or long boat to move from beach to beach or island to island

Easy to get to a 300bhart long tail boat from west Railay beach. The beach is beautiful and very quiet compared to railay. There is a walk through the rocks ( not suitable if carrying luggage though.)

Great location only accessible by boat, no power during day 10am-5pm You rely on long tail boats for day trips over to Railay, Ao Nang and islands trip Loved some of the food there especially Nuri was the best, Ton Sai Sao and the Burger King Kong (breakfasts) were good

The hotel is good enough - nothing to complain really apart...

The hotel is good enough - nothing to complain really apart from the fact that it feels old and for what you pay I expect a better bed a better bathroom etc - also Tonsai beach is mainly for climbers as the beach is not so beautiful - if you want beautiful beaches then go to some islands - if you want to climb then Tonsai is perfect for you

I love this area of Thailand.

I love this area of Thailand. Having stayed at Railay Beach 3 times previously I was unsure about trying Tonsai Beach but I'm so pleased we did. Would definitely choose Tonsai and Tinidee Resort in future.

I enjoy the peace and quiet and the garden/jungle setting of...

I enjoy the peace and quiet and the garden/jungle setting of the resort. I think the only drawback is for senior or less agile visitors in that access is only by long tail boat but if you landed on the 6th of June 1944 in Normandy then you've done it all before at this time nobody is shooting at you. I think most people enjoy the boat rides but be prepared to get wet.
