The two sisters (Nuns) and the reception person were all superior. They helped us find a guide to go to the Ngorongoro park. Both sisters gave us tours and were especially accommodating. The meals were prepared veery well and the service was second to none. The road to the Monastery hotel was fairly short and well kept. The garden around the rooms was well kept. We have stayed in 700+ hotels over the years travelling for work and vacation and I will certainly always remember this Hotel stay as being a unique and pleasant stay. The value was phenomenal and they even prepared us a meal to go for the next day.

Our stay at this Catholic monastery lodge was one of the most peaceful and pleasant experiences during our travels through Tanzania. We were welcomed with warmth and grace. The nuns and the staff were kind and helpful. Their quiet hospitality radiates through everything they do. The lodge itself is immaculate: every corner is squeaky clean and beautifully maintained. There’s a profound sense of serenity here that words can hardly capture. The room was perfect: spacious, bright, and thoughtfully prepared with comfortable beds and mosquito nets that made for restful sleep. The food was a highlight. Every meal was a masterpiece. The vegetables are from their own garden and are fresh and flavorful. Each dish was not only delicious but presented with the care and beauty of a five-star restaurant, which was an unexpected and delightful touch. They bake their own fresh bread and produce their own eggs and honey. Both the dinner and the breakfast we had there were truly amazing! This monastery lodge is a rare gem. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Our stay at Foresight was truly fantastic. The tent was spacious and very comfortable, and we spent a wonderful evening around the fireplace with Anita and Ernest, the founders, such kind people. Since we were self-driving, they shared great tips and even arranged a guide for us at Lake Natron, which made our experience so much easier. Our only regret was not staying longer and going on safari with Raphaël, who is clearly a remarkable guide. If you are visiting Ngorongoro, Manyara, Tarangire, or the surrounding parks, Foresight is a place not to be missed!

When we discovered that our screen door was broken, staff went out of their way to replace it. Breakfast was lovely. The room was well located and provided just what we needed for our quick overnight stop in Karatu.

The staff was so kind. The family style meals were so delicious. I loved dinner. The pool was nice but we didn't have enough time to swim as it rained in the morning. The beds and room were comfortable. The hotel is near the entrance to Ngorongoro Conservation Area so it's pretty convenient to stop there on the way into or out of the park. The hotel supports a farm and local school which I love. One of the staff was a former student of the school -- she was very sweet. They also clean your bags- I was shocked by how dusty everything got on safari. I would definitely stay here again.
