lovely historic hotel with friendly staff, took walk after breakfast. Felt like a scene from The Music Man in the park. Hotel and staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the bar after dinner.

Location was a little off main road which was nice and quiet and breakfast was ok but not elaborated no eggs/ bacon / sausage no potatoes but it had pancakes , cereals,toast, and i believe i saw muffins also beverages as coffee,tea,and juice.

David the manager was extremely friendly and helpful, Rooms were clean and comfortable. The price was reasonable. I booked for 1 night to go to Vermont and see the solar eclipse in north of Vermont. But in my way back to Washington DC I stayed one more night there.
