United StatesStaff was friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Lobby was decorated for Christmas and looked very nice. The room was great, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and lots of selections. Location was perfect! We will definitely be back

United StatesI love that the hotel offered breakfast and the location of the hotel was convenient to a lot places that we needed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel had such a home away from home feeling. Certainly will be back next year.

The home was located 10-15 minutes from everything we wanted to do during our visit. We will definitely stay here again in the future when visiting family!

All was good until...
All was good until...In the middle of the night, bleary eyed, I (a man in the dark) sat on the toilet seat, as one does to relieve one's self. This was my first seated use of this particular commode. I don't startle easily. Now, there is the "refreshingly cool" dip in the pool that is the often cliche' call-back to, "How's the water?" And there is the bone numbing cold of the Polar Bear Plunge into an icy northern lake on New Year's Day. But eye opening above all was the cold chill of my genitalia dipping into the toilet water in my hotel bathroom. Unexpected. Unforgiving. And unforgivable. Seat too low-water too high. From that point on it was a trip downstairs to the lobby bathroom, which to my good fortune was engineered properly. Nonetheless, Sleepus Interruptus.
Upon checkout in the morning, the desk clerk asked, as you do now, "How was your stay?". I told her. Upon discussion, she revealed that I was not the first male customer to have sustained such an unexpected wake-up dip in the pool. And she hoped that the hotel would, sometime soon, undergo a renovation.
It's now time for the Asheboro Hampton Inn or Booking.com to refund my money. And, in case anyone wants to know, I DO NOT want reimbursement in the form of a courtesy stay.

The zoo is the main attraction. Downtown is very nice.
The zoo is the main attraction. Downtown is very nice. We visited the antique and restaurants and enjoyed that time there. The sports grill downtown was actually very good. They serve Honduran food which was a big surprise and nice. The Black Lantern Tavern was a great breakfast spot.

Our only purpose for our visit to Asheboro was to visit the North Carolina zoo. The people of Asheboro are very friendly and David’s Restaurant is awesome! Stayed at Zooland campground. Very nice and clean campground conveniently located to the Zoo and good restaurants.

Great restaurants around the major hotels which were all down the same road. Love the zoo and it is located a perfect distance from the hotels. Kickback Jack's was a great place to eat with a great variety of food. We did the order online and parking lot pick up. I have to say they are on top of things. The lady brought out our food and a box of utensils and condiments in case we had forgot to request online, and I did.

We went with the intention of going to the North Carolina Zoo. The area was easy to navigate in the daylight. After dark, it was a bit trickier due to unusual entrances/exits in parking lots. The people were super nice and friendly wherever we went.

Location was good.
Location was good. Breakfast choices very limited, No microwave to heat up muffins or fruit pastries. No scrambled eggs, Bacon was good. Limited food supply & slow to refill selections. Had to get up & check or ask for food refills. No Waffle Maker as shown in hotel advertisement-DISSAPOINTED. Clean room and bathroom. Friendly staff. Many local restaurants. Indoor swimming pool is NOT HEATED as advertised and the area where the pool is located needs a lot of maintenance. Did appreciate the towels available for drying off. Sole purpose of staying at the Asheboro, NC location was for heated pool and free breakfast. Both were in need of more attention as guest rerally do use both these features. Not sure I would stay here again unless these two features are grossly improved. Beds were cofortable and environment was quiet at night for sleep.

I think this was the best stay we have had at any hotel in a long time. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. The king size bed was very confirm and cozy. The were plenty of lights and plug in's for all of our items.
I will now look for this in all of my travels.
Wow! Doesn't cover or stay here. From the room to the customer service. Great Job to everyone.
