The bed was comfortable, their was coffee pods for us to make a cup in our room, breakfast was basic but they kept it stocked even past the 9am time. If you are GF, not much for choices beyond egg and sausage but I managed.

We enjoyed our visit to Buda, we had breakfast at a really cool little place that served homemade Concha's and burritos. We were visiting family and had limited time to explore but our impression was it would be somewhere we would like to return and visit more unique shops and explore the local eating places.

I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, and unfortunately my experience was far below expectations. The room was poorly maintained: two of the four USB outlets were not working, the wall light behind the bed did not function, the shower valve plate was loose, and the wall near the desk was scratched and damaged by the chair. Housekeeping did not service the bed daily. Breakfast service was also disappointing. On Sunday, the selection consisted only of plain eggs and white bread—no bagels, wheat bread, English muffins, fruit, yogurt, or other standard items. The juice came from a machine of very low quality, and everything was served on paper plates. On Monday, the situation worsened: no eggs were offered, the juice machine was shut down, and staff responded rudely when I inquired. At one point, the kitchen lights were even turned off while I was there, which made the experience very unpleasant. Given these issues, the value was extremely poor. The hotel charges close to $90 per night but provides a level of service and quality that would only justify $20–25. It was clear to me that customer satisfaction is not a priority here.

Great proximity to the hill country and Austin and San Antonio. Lots of trails to hike and neat things to see and do. Loved the old Stagecoach park. The only complaint is the horrendous traffic, but I am from a small town.

Location was great close to all my family, but next time I’ll stay at the Holiday Inn express across the parking lot. Batteries are low in the remote faucet and the bathtub almost fell off and the clerk when I tried to check in early was very rude and very curt.

This is the third time I've stayed at the hotel. The first time was excellent. The second time was reasonable, and now the third time was very bad. The room's air conditioning was broken (it was on auto, so I couldn't turn it up or down). The parking lot was full of trailers (trucks) which took up a lot of parking spaces, and people were having barbecues and drinking beer in the parking lot! Anyway, I don't recommend it anymore!
