There is a very nice walking/ bike path in/near Clarion.

There is a very nice walking/ bike path in/near Clarion. It was a little way from the hotel and we would have never found if the employee had not told us about it at check in. Clarion seemed like a very sleepy little town.

There are several hotel options in Clarion PA just off Route...

There are several hotel options in Clarion PA just off Route 80, and it is a popular stopping point in Western PA. I have stayed in a few hotels here. Microtel Clarion is, I think, the best option for budget travelers. It is a fairly new property - maybe 6 or 7 years old. It is modern looking, in great shape, clean, quiet, comfortable, well designed, with free breakfast and 24 hour free coffee bar. The price is good. I have stayed there 3 times in the last 4 years - once alone, one with my wife, once with the two of us and our pet dog. It has been a good experience each time.

We stayed in Clarion to meet up with framily from Detroit to...

We stayed in Clarion to meet up with framily from Detroit to return our grand daughter who stayed with us in NY. Clarion is almost half way to each other and the area is nice with plenty of areas to eat, fuel up and rest.

This is our go to stop every time we travel this way.

This is our go to stop every time we travel this way. Great service, very good breakfast clean rooms, clean hotel and very friendly and helpful employees. Beds comfortable everythiing in room working well and very clean. This was our fifth stay here at Microtel in Clarion.

I was in and out. Got in late.

I was in and out. Got in late. No nearby facilities to eat, but that was ok for me. Basic comfort which was what I needed. Very clean. Front desk staff were pleasant. Outside area was nice for breakfast.

Cook Forest! 😁 Swimming, tubing, hiking, horseback riding.

Cook Forest! 😁 Swimming, tubing, hiking, horseback riding. And the gorgeous scenery! And visit Knotty Pines for great food! Best burgers anywhere! Then go to Clarion River Brewing Company for great craft beers.and more good food!

The whole hotel was very clean and well maintained. The room was very clean. We liked the pancake machine, eggs and sausage links. Breakfast room was very clean and well stocked. We had our dog with us and our room was on the first floor and close to an exit door which was very convenient.

This hotel chain never disappoints! The interieur is well designed, it is comfy, cosy and very clean! Highly recommend staying here. Everything is new and well maintained.
