What a crock compared to online. No AC in the room, it stayed 80 degrees the whole time. Pool closed. Fitness center closed. Bar closed. Rooms dirty. Bathroom so dirty none of us felt comfortable taking a shower. Not enough towels. We informed them the fire detector was beeping in our room all night the first night and they only removed the batteries. Breakfast area dirty and OJ and milk were in self serve jugs that were dirty and had things floating in them. It really was gross. Please don’t waste your money here. So nasty.
The location couldn't be better for shopping and dining. I lived in Conyers for many years before moving last year, so I can definitely say that this location puts you closest, and most convenient, to great shopping and restaurants. The hotel is seconds from I-20, but most of the traffic noise is absent because of the thickly wooded area next to the hotel.
There was nothing at all I liked about the Conyers quality inn in Georgia disgusting nasty roast infested I would never recommend anyone's even think about staying there overnight the general manager should be fired for what he keeps that property in a nasty way it is.
My room was a mess. The air conditioner was broken and laid in pieces on the floor. When I went and asked for another room, I was told that there were no more rooms, but that they would comp one night, which never happened. This was my birthday weekend, and it was ruined due to the accomendations. There were no chairs in the room to sit in, so we had to sit in the bed when we wanted to sit. There were no grabage cans in the room, the shower did not work, and the phone did not work, so everytime I needed to talk to the front desk, I had to go downstrais. The tiles in the bathroom were broken and shaking when you stepped on them. No soap or any other amendities were in the room.
When we turned in at the Horse Park entrance, the grounds and road were lovely and we figured we'd made a good choice on the motel. Boy, were we wrong. On the way to the entrance, we were stopped at a traffic light, which was green, but there was oncoming traffic not using their signals, so we had no idea if they would turn into our lane or not. Rudely honked and yelled at by two dudes in pickup with lawnmowers on a float. We live in Gatlinburg, TN, and have been in the hospitality industry for over 50 years and realize our guests are unfamiliar with their new surroundings and may take a little longer to figure out traffic and directions. So disappointed. Conyers, Georgia is definitely on my mind...and not in a good way either. I fervently hope never to return.
I was only in town for the weekend to visit my sister who lives in Lithonia. I think if my family and I had been in town longer we would have been able to enjoy it more. We had driven six hours and over 300 miles to get to Conyers. Family outings were planned in advance by my sister in Atlanta.
Got to the hotel about 730/8 with 4 teenagers and I’m the only adult driver. When I got there the guy told me my card was declined and that the rooms went back available but they are sold out. Normally I thought when a card don’t go thru you get an email to update card. I did not get an email; didn’t think about it until I had left Best Western and it was the next day that I was thinking how strange it was that I did not get an email about my card
Nothing. To be honest, it was not worth what we paid. If you paid me to go back to this hotel, I would not. We were only staying one night in Conyers, just getting out of town. Definitely didn't like anything.
