We go once a year (for the past 8 years) and love everything...
We go once a year (for the past 8 years) and love everything about it . Great food choices and lots to do with kids. Bearizona, Deer Farm, Lowell Observatory and of course the Grand Canyon. Close by is Williams AZ too. We love eating at NiNarcos’s Pizza, In & Out Burger and this trip found a delicious hole in the wall Mexican food cafe called La Casita!! It has a great walking environment and super safe. Next time since the kids are older we want to take the Haunted Walking Tour.

The Flagstaff area has many close by attractions that a visitor can enjoy. Within easy driving distance are Sunset crater and lava flow, indian ruins at Wupatki, gondola ride at the Arizona snowbowl, Route 66 attractions at Williams or Winslow, Meteor Crater, Grand Canyon etc. On my stay, we spend much of a day exploring downtown Flagstaff which abounds with many interesting stores, and enjoyed the La Posada Resort in Winslow. Summer temps are much cooler in Flagstaff which is a nice respite from the desert heat of central and southern Arizona.

Its getting to be just like phoenix, forget free camping...
Its getting to be just like phoenix, forget free camping and nice lakes there muddy and fish are just nasty sick I don't recommend this place for peace and quiet or anything to do there's nothing no dance bars that are country no nothing movies and the mall that's it boring the massage places are a joke there for a happy ending only bad place

Regarding the above. The reason our visit was too long is due to an ongoing issue with our brand new Mercedes engine which, after 5 weeks has yet to be definitively repaired. We loved exploring the area and the city itself. We spent a lot of time watching their footie in many different local sports bars. That was excellent

I love Flagstaff. I have been coming here since the 90s!
I love Flagstaff. I have been coming here since the 90s! The scenery is absolutely breath taking. We made it "home base" and traveled to Antelope Canyon, the Grand Canyon and other places from Flagstaff. Looking forward to coming back!!

Flagstaff is a beautiful and approachable city.
Flagstaff is a beautiful and approachable city. Those unfamiliar with Arizona will be startled to see the huge pines and mountain views; it's big enough to have everything you need but small enough that everything is accessible.

We had an amazing night of sleep. Even when it is a basic accommodation, it felt like a hotel with a coffee machine, lots of towels and toiletries. Very clean and not noisy at all (either from guests or the road). Very easy access from downtown/the Amtrak station. The family managing it are super kind as well! We will be back if we ever pass through Flagstaff again.

Comfortable, fully equipped, the hosts thought about all details to make you feel like you have just returned home.
The people who designed the rooms certainly have experience with travels and what one appreciates when away from home.
This is a luxurious boutique hotel in a lovely town of Flaggstaff, with shops and restaurants 10 min walk away.

Lovely rooms at a great value for money. New, clean, comfortable and functional. A five minute drive from Flagstaff downtown. A perfect place to recharge your batteries if you're visiting the Grand Canyon or Sedona.

The location of the hotel in Flagstaff is an excellent place to stop over en route to attractions like the Grand Canyon. The place has a nice feel about it, and is quite scenic being very close to mount Humpfreys.
