Was a good spot close to the airport for our flight the next day. We weren’t there long so can’t really say much , we didn’t go to the pool or anything. We did catch an Uber to the desert botanical gardens which were only around 5-10 minutes drive away which was convenient and something cool to check out in the late afternoon.

Plenty of parking, first impressions were new, clean, staff really friendly, room was great, clean, all the facilities were great, room included a kitchenette, fridge/freezer, decent microwave, crockery and cutlery.

The hotel is very cool and modern, it looks like a museum somehow, they really put a lot of creativity into it. The room was nice and modern, with a strange but cool bathroom system. The neighbourhood is nice and there are many restaurants at walking distance. The swimming pool was nice. They give you a voucher for a coffee in the cafè in the lobby. They also have a nice little shop.

    We stayed 2 nights in a hotel in Glendale outside downtown Phoenix. We travelled into Scottsdale and Phoenix. We actually took the bus into downtown and it was an excellent service. We visited the State Capitol and walked back to downtown which was fairly easy. Lots of great architecture throughout, sports stadiums and very easy to navigate streets.

    Phoenix traffic is horrendous!

    Phoenix traffic is horrendous! It's only going to get worse as the snowbirds come flocking in! Summer heat is definitely an issue! Winters are exceptional! On the good side we love the smaller restaurants and entertainment venues that you can't get in Tucson where we live!

    Phoenix itself is a decent place as long as you are on the right side of town. If you were on the wrong side of town you'll know it. Phoenix offers a variety of different foods and places to go. My advice is just to plan carefully read reviews and you'll have a great experience.

    Phoenix offers a lot of attractions and sites to see. I always enjoy spending time in Phoenix. There are a variety of restaurants and places to go and enjoy. HUSS'S is one I particularly enjoyed. Downtown has many sites within walking distance. Of course, since it was summer it was hot, but still manageable. I recommend Phoenix to anyone who wonders about visiting this city!

    Phoenix is a big town, so plan transportation accordingly and consider a minimum of 20 minutes to travel anywhere. Also, be careful with homeless and drug addicts who live in suburban areas. The dry heat is intense, so always keep water with you! I ate at the Wildflower, they have great healthy food options :)

    Summer time is not the time to visit Phoenix Arizona. Unless you love 115°+ weather. Other than that, Phoenix has been a friendly place with nice mountain top views of the valley. Food is ok depending what you like to eat. Don't expect fresh seafood if you're a seafood lover. BBQ spots are a hit or miss and so is breakfast. Activities are minimal throughout the day unless you're a hiker. There's plenty of places to hike.
