I really enjoyed my stay here. It is located within walking distance to restaurants and lakeside swimming. There are lots of e scooters near by and places to rent electric bikes. The area was quiet and I felt safe at night being a female solo traveler. The room was clean and had everything I needed including a fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. The bed was comfy and it had Roku tv. The staff onsite were incredibly kind and accommodating. I lost my phone and they helped me out immensely and I will be forever grateful for their help! Great value for money!! Highly recommend

Beds were comfortable and the room was bigger than expected. Check-in was super easy. I really liked the neighborhood it was in. There’s lots of motels and you can walk to the beach. The pictures I attached her from the beach that’s just a few minutes walk from the motel. And if you get in the car, there’s plenty of restaurants and heavenly village is really close by. it’s not a super fancy hotel but for the price and a cheap place to stay it was way better than I expected. Will definitely stay again.

We didn't go to Genoa on our most recent trip (it's 3 miles...

We didn't go to Genoa on our most recent trip (it's 3 miles from Walley's Resort), but we have on other occasions. It's a fun little town with a lot of interesting history. There's a well-paved walking/biking pathway from the resort if you want to visit the town and want an alternative to driving.

Genoa is a quaint historic gem of a city with lots of deer...

Genoa is a quaint historic gem of a city with lots of deer as residents. Several delicious restaurants are in town. It’s quiet and secluded. I stayed at David Wally’s Resort for about 5 months on a business trip once and fell in love with Genoa. I wish I could afford to live there will all of the spectacular views.

I have always loved this place, but this time was not good!

I have always loved this place, but this time was not good! jacuzzi was ice cold could not use the hot springs pool had to use Colorado pool which was filthy with hair & bugs :/ our room was full of mosquitos by sister got chewed up during the night for what they charge this all could of been a much better experience

The location- sandwiched between the base of the Sierra’s and the water of Carson Sink, overlooking a beautiful wetland with ducks flying and Fall colors changing… and so close to Genoa! Very well maintained, clean and welcoming.

You’d have a hard time finding a hotel with better views and natural ambiance. Waking up to the sunrise over the wetlands in front of you and the mountains behind was sublime. The rooms are comfortable and clean, as well.
