Tiny town with a casino. Perfect place to spent the night on your way from the west to east coast of Florida (or vice versa). We stayed at the Immokale Inn which is clean and pleasant. The few restaurants unfortunately closed at 21pm, and our only real option (for sit down dinner) was to go to the casino. Food there was good and plenty, plus casino (Las Vegas style, except that smoking inside is allowed here) provided some unanticipated entertainment. Fast food options were also available, as well as a number of dollar stores. There's an Indian reserve village with an interesting museum about Indian life in the Everglades nearby.

Going to Immokalee is always nice.
Going to Immokalee is always nice...It is my hometown and going back to visit is fun. We always stay at the Immokalee Inn, nice little motel. This time we ate at Rib City which is right next door to the motel. Very nice restaurant, great food and nice, happy waitress. Also made a trip to the farmers market, a have to go to place for anyone visiting the area, all kinds of seasonal and unique produce.
Good place to visit.
Immokalee is a small town. They had a Little Caesar's Pizza & a McDonald's. I stayed there at the Immokalee Inn. The manager made my stay very comfortable. I visited the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall., then it was a pleasant country ride back to Fort Myers.

IN THE SUITE....WAS SWEET!
NEEDING TO BE BACK IN FT LAUDERDALE AFTER A DAY/EVENING ON THE GULF COAST...I CHOOSE TO STAY CLOSE (2 HOOURS) AND OFF THE BEATEN PATH...KEEP IN MIND HE GAVE ME THE LARGE SUITE AT THE END OF THE HALL & ROOM SET BACK FROM THE STREET & PARKING WHICH HAD MANY CONSTRUCTION TRUCKS ON THAT NIGHT,.
IT WOULD OF BEEN BRUTAL IN THE A.M. IF CLOSE TO THE VEHICALES NO DOUBT...BUT I HAD THE SUITE..... THAT WAS KEY TO MY SLEEP & PEACE OF MIND & WHY I THINK MY STAY WAS GOOD!!!
“Clean, quiet rooms.
Accommodating and friendly management.
Good Wi-Fi access.
A note about the location: Immokalee is not the gulf coast. No one comes here "for the season". It's a working class town with the amenities and issues one finds in working class towns. OTOH it's reasonably close to the Everglades and about an hour away from Naples. Immokalee itself is home to a rather nice casino.”
“Relatively good price (considering the alternatives). Staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms are somewhat dated and could use a renovation, but they are clean and pleasant. Easy access to shops near by. Casino hotel nearby which features three different types of restaurants that serve sizable portions, and some gambling entertainment.”
