South AfricaWe had the most wonderful time at this beautiful inn set in stunning surroundings and gardens. On our holiday this was the only place where we actually met and interacted with the owners , Doug and Jim. Our room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Lovely leather chairs and decor. The bed was comfortable with nice linens.
We were invited to the cheese and wine evening and it was great. Lovely wines and cheeses and a great way to meet other guests. We so enjoyed the piano and a few songs from Doug.
Breakfast was a feast .. fruit, yogurts , eggs . Delicious and a different menu each morning. Home baked cakes .. yummy.
Saturday we sat in the gardens and enjoyed a lovely afternoon of music , it was so nice to see locals join the afternoon too.
We wish we could have stayed longer..
Doug and Jim you run a beautiful Inn, your commitment and hard-work tells the story.

United StatesThe room was super clean and very spacious. Mattress and bedding was comfortable. The a/c kept the room temperature just right. I was very pleased with all aspects of the room. The grounds are well-kept and nice for walking dogs.

My sister, daughter and I loved staying here.
My sister, daughter and I loved staying here. It was a great location, close to the house where other members were staying. Also close to many restaurants and supermarkets. Although it was one of the coldest weekends ever, we had a spectacular time. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable an overall quiet location

I didn't stay in Lee for anything that was in Lee, but for...
I didn't stay in Lee for anything that was in Lee, but for Lee's proximity to Stockbridge, and Lenox. Lee had nothing that I was interested in and I was only in the town when in my room ar the hotel.

We were having a special celebratory dinner for my husbands 92nd bday in Lenox ant Zinc. Great French food.This hotel was just a few min away.
The scenery along the way was a riot of color with all spring blooms blossoming at once. The colors were gorgeous. Everything was set against bright spring green and chartreuse budding leaves.
Its great in fall too but I think I’m loving the spring more.
Also attended the Clark art institute as well as Mass MOCA. Both unique. Yes I’d say getting around with a gps was fairly easy.

Lee is a small town near Stockbridge and Lenox.
Lee is a small town near Stockbridge and Lenox. It’s in the Berkshire Mts. The Fall foliage is worth the trip. Colors were popping! We visited: Olivia’s Outlook (a stunning view of the valley and mountains), the Norman Rockwell Museum (well worth a visit here for $23/senior) the Kripalu Yoga Campus (beautiful views of the surrounding mountains), Pleasant Valley Nature Sanctuary (trails and information of the land).
In town we walked to dinner and breakfast. Morgan House Inn is a historical fixture serving food from 4-8 pm. We had the best Angus burgers and fresh-cut fries ever! Park 51 had comfortable outdoor seating and the food was excellent and delicious. My breakfast at Rosie’s was superb: a fresh croissant with fluffy, scrambled eggs, applewood bacon and creamy cheese. The accompanying fresh greens with a creamy dressing were delicious.

Stayed in Lee primarily to attend a concert at Tanglewood. I found the area to be beautiful, and I wish I had more time to stay. I was able to fit in a short excursion to October Mountain State Forest. Would like to see more of it. I do plan on returning. Rose's restaurant was perfect for breakfast. There a plenty of hotels, motels, and inns to stay in.

Lee, MA is a city but not very touristy so fewer shops to...
Lee, MA is a city but not very touristy so fewer shops to visit than in nearby towns of Lenox and Stockbridge. We still had fun and pricing at the antique stores is better than in the more "touristy" places like Great Barrington, Stockbridge, and Lenox, MA.

Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable, and although we were just passing through Lee on our way to southern Maine, and arrived quite late in the evening, we would highly recommend the Quality Inn to anyone in need of a good night's sleep while on the road.

Wonderful location, amazing welcoming staff, beautiful bakes available, lovely rooms, , and being able to take a kayak out on the lake or just go for a swim was priceless in such a beautiful spot. One of my favourite ever hotel stays.
