CanadaI liked all of the bright airy space in the lobby. It was so nice to have breakfast in a comfortable space with lots of big windows to the outside. Also there were lots of great options for breakfast: eggs and breakfast sandwiches, waffles, muffins, cereals and fruit. I loved the set up in the room - plenty of storage space and a well equipped kitchen. The staff were always pleasant and helpful.

United KingdomWhat was there not to love from an amazing location to a wonderful staff team who were all so welcoming and cheery. Our room was huge and well appointed and had a sea view balcony - the pool area was spotless as well. Great breakfast with freshly made burritos and egg, spinach and tomato pots for example, cereals etc. Late afternoon cheese, wine and crackers was very sociable as were the 8.00pm freshly made cookies and milk. Coffee / tea on tap at all times. It is obviously a really great place to stay as evidenced by so many repeat stayers

Lewes is full of places to shop and dine. several mini-golf courses and there is at least one real golf course. It is a very short drive to Rehoboth Beach and Cape Henlopen State Park which has an interesting WWII coastal defense museum and beach. It is less than an hour to Ocean City MD. and the extensive boardwalk. There are whale and dolphin cruises nearby which are well worth taking.

On this trip were only passing through Lewes after a day trip from Cape May on the ferry.
"Old Town" Lewes is an charming old fishing sort of town. We didn't tour it this time but we've visited years ago and visited the beach park with the kids. It was enjoyable.
That said, he area around old Lewes is a BOOMING commercial zone with a lot of traffic. You'll need your GPS to find things. We sure did. There are massive housing projects around the area.

The beach was not crowded like neighboring beaches.
The beach was not crowded like neighboring beaches. After going in several shops, I realized that the people there were unusually helpful. There was lots of shopping - outlets, boutiques and even Walmart. Nick’s mini golf ( behind Walmart) was a treat especially for dinasour lovers - it was a hot day - they sold water ice at the end and that was also a welcome treat.

The Condo was perfect.
The Condo was perfect. The book showing eateries, shopping and various things to do in the area was perfect. Next time I come for a visit biking is my schedule first! The weather was not so good this visit. There will be another time.

Go to Roosevelt beach down Cedar St off of Savannah.
Go to Roosevelt beach down Cedar St off of Savannah. No parking fees and the inlet is right there with great views. Great crabs and staff at Bushell's. The Irish Pub had great food in Lewes but the decor is just OK. I would go again for the food. Great crab Bloody Mary.

When your in between renting and your entire home is in...
When your in between renting and your entire home is in storage units, this place is quiet located so close to everything you need.
Salons, outlets, restaurants, beaches.
I would say my favorite restaurants are the station on kings. And Rass fantastic upscale eclectic Indian food. Sakutumi for sushi. Bodhi in rehoboth.
Right now there are a lot people in town from the tri state area and New England. So just remember how to have a heavy foot.
It’s Italian saying. Hope this you guys and y’all this is helpful. Welcome to Delaware!
