Exceptional service with every detail considered. The cashless and tip less approach is terrific, and somehow results in even friendlier and more attentive service. The details in the room from the wine, to the spa product samples, and the personalised candle elevate the experience. The rooms are stunning and luxurious. The property is beautiful, well maintained and has no shortage of activities and areas to explore. All good from the breakfast to poolside to dinner is fresh, hearty, and delicious. This is one of my favourite hotels and I’m already planning my next visit. A new go-to for a wholesome escape.

I liked Californian weather, mountains, blooming trees and flowers. I disliked misleading reality: in the picture on the property’s website the ocean looked much closer than it was in fact. I was dreading from the greedy ants that ruined my vacation, unresponsive management that didn’t care about my needs. Only Bess, who worked there,helped me with shopping. The shop is very far from the property if you don’t drive. There is a bus #134 that runs every hour or so. Many times; I called to the office, but nobody answered a phone. I asked Bess for a cleaner, but they never sent one, or the cleaner never appeared at the door. Finally,Californian roaches came to visit me,but they didn’t bite at least. I feel frustrated and request full refund for my ruined vacation

The State Parks were beautiful.

The State Parks were beautiful. Topanga Canyon Road was closed and could not see this area. Traffic was horrendous at time; in addition to the busy traffic, there were working on several segments of the road, and had very long one-lane car lines…

We had a terrific stay at the Surfrider!

We had a terrific stay at the Surfrider! We loved everything about it. Staff was awesome. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Very beachy vibes, which we loved! The rooftop deck has great drinks and the food is off the charts. We will definitely be returning soon!

The cottage was cute with a beach vibe decor and very peaceful and serene, the perfect place to rest and recuperate after travelling internationally for a month. The deck is great at night with the fairy lights on. The lady managing the property was lovely. As I was not driving she took me on a local tour of the area to show me Zuma beach and the hiking trails.

Stunning home with fantastic views over the ocean. The balconies were accessible and roomy so you could enjoy the views. All the equipment was provided so we felt immediately at home and relaxed. There is a washer drier available which is excellent when on a long trip like ours and the garage was really useful for the hire car.

The bed was fabulous. Best sleep of my travels. The fire in the room was lovely. There were nuts and dried fruits waiting on our arrival. The restaurant overlooking the water was superb. The free cookies were amazing.
