The area is beautiful. The water so clear and clean.
The area is beautiful. The water so clear and clean. Enjoyed visiting the nearby lighthouses and museums. Big Springs was amazing and peaceful. Kitch iti Kipi …go see it. We took a drive and found Fayette Historic State Park. Wow was that neat. A town practically preserved and abandoned. We did not get to view everything …need at least 1 day. The 24 hour popcorn was wonderful for a nightline snack with our grandchildren while watching a bedtime program. There was a piano and my grandchildren played to get practice while guests were having breakfast. The guests seem to really enjoy the music. The hotel is a bit dated but perfectly clean and acceptable for the price. The location is ok for the town, which isn't up to much in reality. If you need to stop off in Manistique, then this is a good choice.
