ItalyWe had a very strange experience at the Moon River ranch. the Place seemed abandoned. No guests at all a part from us 4 (two couples) and the main Building was open but completely lonely. Few people of the staff for the check in that left at 5pm. We have spend the night completely alone. It was scary and we couldnt wait to leave the next morning. We dont suggest this kind of accomodation.

We travel to Marlin every six months.
We travel to Marlin every six months. We enjoy the hamburgers at the Lakeview restaurant. The city of Marlin itself is very depressing. A great many empty dirty looking storefronts downtown. It is very obvious that a great many of the folks who live here are just barely surviving.

Most everything went well. It was quiet, easy access to the hotel, access to internet, good television programs, the staff was attentive and friendly.
The bed was comfortable and temperature was good.

Location, convenient of Tx HWY 6, Convenient on-line booking through hotels.com, manager very nice and helpful. The room was clean and bed comfortable.
