Best part was the staff. Every single one of them was very helpful and friendly. Made you feel at home. Both at the check in desk and also the cleaners were super nice. The hotel is what you would expect for a Travelodge, but on a nicer scale. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. Location was perfect for my trip, right in Marin. Eventhough we were right next to the freeway, I could not hear the cars from my room. Overall it was a perfect stay, thanks to the proffessional staff.

What a fantastic spot! Great location. Wonderful view. I was torn between getting out to explore the area and just wanting to sit and enjoy the wonderful space. Jena was a great host. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Mill Valley is super cute, has tons of great restaurants, cute shops and is very close to many attractions. We stayed here while our child was at summer camp in Fairfax. We did the Dipsea Stairs and Cypress Trail. Also Visited Muir Woods. Mt. Tam is near by as well. We ate and Bungalow 44, the Depot and Omi Kuma. All were great. The Mill Valley in was a great find, they had a great breakfast spread. Fennell and Woander are must visits. Mill Valley's a ton of pedestrian stairways/pathways, that have been restored over the years, you can purchase a map of them at the Depot Bookstore. However, if you wander the neighborhood at all you will just encounter them. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely enjoyed (except for the dumpy hotel I stayed at...

Absolutely enjoyed (except for the dumpy hotel I stayed at TravelLodge by Wynham Mill Valley/ Sausalito - didn't expect luxury just clean and functional but it was neither), every moment spent in Mill Valley. A great location to explore both city and north Bay area offerings.

I would have hiked more from the hotel rather than entering from the parks. I would have visited the coast more. It is great to be so close to several spots, Sausalito, Tiburon, Muir Beach, and San Francisco.

I like the fact that it was still a descent place despite it...

I like the fact that it was still a descent place despite it be the least expensive place we could find on very short notice, literally 30 minutes before we checked in we were able to book it on Booking.com

I grew up in Mill Valley and absolutely love opportunities...

I grew up in Mill Valley and absolutely love opportunities to visit. Proximity to wonderful trails, lovely views, redwood trees, interesting neighborhoods; pretty waterfall; nice theater and music hall offering quality entertainment and a movie theater; good food choices (both from cafes/restaurants and upscale grocery stores) and very close to other interesting towns and San Francisco. Public transportation around area is limited but getting to/from San Francisco via public transportation is easy and have done it often.

I don't love all the snobs who migrated from the East Coast and now think they are better than anyone because they are able to afford living in California, but, those people aside, everything else is lovely and wonderful
